Yeah... as it cures it will smell more like weed. How long has it been drying? Do you have it in glass jars?

When I first put my harvest in jars it didn't smell like mj either... but I took a few buds out and put them in a small plastic prescription bottle... the next day they smelled like great weed!!! I think it took about a month before my the buds in the jars started smelling like good ganja.

They need to feel REALLY crispy yet just a little moist deep into the bud before they go in jars. I put mine into jars after 3 days but had to dump it out again for another day and a half because it got too wet again. You will get the nack for it. This is my first Grow/cure and I think I have the hang of it. Its all about how they feel.

How long should I keep them hanging about a week? THan put them in jars and burp them every day?
It depends on how big your buds are and how dry they are in a week of hanging there. I would think they would be dry enough after a week to start curing. If you have a lot of bud, it's easier to cure them in quality tupperware containers. I put my curing buds in the containers and stash them someplace dark and cool. Take them out and open the containers for a half hour to an hour a day. Remember to shut the lights off when burping. It's hard to be patient and see it thru til the end, but if you cure your buds right they'll smell great, smoke great and gain potency. Win, win, win situation.

I dont think this was already asked but how long should you cure. Ball Park Fig
Most ppl say you should cure anywhere from two weeks to a month. Like I said before, I cure my buds in quality tupperware containers, and I leave my buds right in the containers until I smoke them. So realistically, my buds are curing right up until they go in the bowl. Smooth and tasty, tell you what.
