been flushing for 2 weeks, flowering for 10 weeks now, I dont know why they still dont look that ripe to me.
Closer look at the trichoms you can see they just start turning milky and top collas has strange looking foxtailing!

Chopped this same strain before at 8-9 weeks max and they were ready by the time no foxtailing nothing. the only thing I changed was adding two HLG 320 LED to my existing air cooled 1k HPS to cover more space (4'x8'). distance from the light is 20"-22".

what could be the cause of that and should I chop or give them more time? i dont have space to dryem so i have to harvest at once? thanks for your input.

With closeups of the trichomes we can judge accurately but you are in the ballpark from the looks of the swollen calyxes. Perhaps 5 more days.

To prevent foxtailing you should dim lights and reduce temperatures during the last few weeks. This makes for denser nugs with no foxtails. I actually get better yields by reducing energy usage. With too much light and heat during the last few weeks buds can become fluffy and foxtailed. So I think the additional light is the cause for the foxtails. You can get foxtails with cool temps if there is too much light, that is also why it happens on the tops closer to the light.

Honestly they look way more done then I expected before I saw the pictures :). I think you could totally wait out another week to let it ripen more if you want. I also think they are in the window for sure so if you need or want to cut now you shoulnt be disappointed. There are lots of people that wouldn't have had the patients to wait this long, so well done.

Thank you all for the advice.

Gave them 48 hours of darkness already and going to chop soon.

Here is some more info, might help somebody,

Temp was around 70 during light on and few degrees less when off, tops all have the same shape under HPS and LED which make it little difficult to root cause for me, but I will try to left it up next run.

Growing in soilless media, used AN Sensi line as per schedule and plants looked fine and healthy up till before flushing. then flushed half of the plant with flawless finish to see if there is any difference compared to straight RO however they all have the same purpling crisp leaf issue.

My flush runoff were around 160-200ppm but I noticed after flushing twice at week 9 & 8 that fan leaves did not yellow enough instead they turned crispy purple at the top and dark green under. Hopefully there is not much fertz stuck into the buds so I will try my best for perfect drying and curing.

Here is more pics as of today, light off but had to use flash.

Thanks
