Is My Female A Hermi Now?

Had this plant growing from bagseed nearly 4 months now. My first grow in 20 years. 2 months veg and nearly 2 months flowering under several 48w CFLs. Initial light was 18/6 and now in flowering 12/12. I also started vegging 8 others from bought beans.

Sincle last week I put them all together in the garden shed. Flowering plant was originally in separate location from vegging ones. But now they all get 18/6 in the one area. Which I thought wouldnt hurt the flowering one as it looked like it was nearing harvest (yellowing fan leaves and thick hairy buds).

Anyway I realised yesterday after giving it liquid fertiliser that their maybe males heads forming the last week. Round balls some opening with stamens. Pollen. Yikes!!! These balls opening almost on all bud sites on the plant. Must have stressed it going back to 18/6 light...how silly of me.

What do I do now? Harvest?

I havent flushed yet as I just added more liquid chemical nutes yesterday. Doh! It's in a 10L (2 gallon) pot. Should I flush today with say 20L (4 gallons) and harvest in a few days? or flush & Harvest today?

Also only my AK47 started heading recently, others still in veg. Should I take them outside and spray thoroughly with fine mist from garden hose to wash pollen off? Hose down all refelctive material in the shed?

Any help appreciated.

wait it out let the seeds develop and there u go a grip of seeds for the next grow thats what i would do......

KushKing, thanks, will it still be a good smoke? I'd hate to waste all these months with no decent smoke. I'm at least tempted to cut a few large buds off......but not sure today or later after flushing.

yea u can cut some buds off if u want and since u didnt flush... your best bet would be doing a water cure

Yeah read your post about water curing. Will try that on some buds. Rep+ to you.

I decided to flush with about 18L. But I cut two stalks about midway down. They both weighed an ounce with shade leaves and stalk before trimming. Will air cure these first buds on a hanger. See pics below.

Will test different cures, air, water & flash from same plant. Then I'll know how they affect taste, ordour and potency.

How long do you guys normally need to wait after flushing to harvest?

I figure it may take a few days of clean watering as the nutes would be in the plant already from 2 days ago.

some people flush for up to two weeks, though i think you could get away with just one week of flushing

Thanks Sanklovich. I'm taking off a pair of buds everyday now. Plant may just last out the week to make it one week since flushing lol. 90% of buds are ready and also breaking out with male flowers now.

The buds I first picked last Friday and hung and bagged, are smelling real good. Very sweet and earthy aroma......lovely shades of green with brown hairs. Smoked some already and its smooth and moving from couchlock to real rushy stuff already. Been smoking some fan leaves for a few weeks waiting for bud to be ready LOL..... been dry here. So nice change to have great tasting buds again.
