If you know what strain it is you could wait till the flowers are almost ready to pop then harvest. So when you have a female you can use the pollen from the male to make a batch of seeds and do a IBL strain.

Well since my op for this summer is shot cause of this male...can sym1 send me a simple list of equipment for a 1-3 plant indoor grow...

Please explain further ill let him grow he's already 5 ft tall

is that the only plant u have? when u plant seeds, its good to do a few. expect about a 50/50 male/female ratio.

edit: check out the grow room design and indoor growing forums to figure out a design. u will need lights, fans for cooling, and maybe a timer

im not sure how to tell if theyre ready since i havent dealt with males yet. but when he is about to release his pollen, you can collect it in a jar. separate him from any females first so you dont pollinate them. next season, when your females are about 2-3 weeks into budding(i think), use a paintbrush to dab some pollen on one bud. that bud will have seeds that u can use for the next season.

Depending on where you live like I found out you can but HPS and MH lights and ballasts that go as low as 35 watts and for here that I know of a 70w HPS light and 70w MH light both will fit into a regular light socket. Make sure you have the ceramic one because that will draw heat away from the bulb's screw in part and also will make it safer to use compared to if you used a non ceramic light socket.
