Is my plant healthy ?

I see. And I should soak the soil when watering ?

I love this forum :)
You don't want to "soak" it, but you want it to be well-watered. 2/3 of a cup *should* hold them for 3 days or so depending on the temperature/humidity in your room. Don't water directly around the stalk, but more around the edges of the pots so the roots have to search for water (don't worry, they'll find it!).

Here's a pic of one from my last batch at about a week old, before I overwatered them and burnt them all to hell by giving them (very weak) nutes too soon.

That looks like a lovely crop :)

One last question (I think), should I fill up the pot with soil up to it's first leaves ?

Unless it's stretching significantly, I wouldn't bother. Doesn't look too stretched, but it's hard to tell from the top-down pic. You also don't want the first node too close to the dirt because it will (eventually, when the plant starts to fill out) impede air flow and could create problems with mold/mildew down the road, not to mention fan leaves lying in the dirt =)

EDIT: may as well start a few more, just to be on the safe side. My first batch I started with 5, and ended up with ONE lousy female.

Put your plant on 24 hours of light for about 5 to 6 weeks intell the plant or plants are 12 inches tall. Then put the lights on a 12 on 12 off it will start budding. When they are little babys in veg. They need lots of light.

that thing is tiny! I'm no expert but I know enough to say that you could probably saturate the cup its in and it wouldnt need water for 2 weeks. Make sure there is a fan blowing the air around but not directly on the seedling as it WILL dry out the leaves, you wanna see the seedling twitching slightly from the breeze. Absolutely no nutes yet.. and dont give it too much attention, I think you're gonna need more light as well... I dont know much about the CFLs.. i had my seedlings under a 125w 6400k CFL and the growth was nothing amazing. I put them under a metal halide and they really took off.

Overwatering is probably why its so small. I was overwatering two of my young seedlings, you can see them in the pic in the plastic cups. Them two were actually germed at the same time as the others in pots but were overwatered from a young age and were badly stunted (heat stress too).

Ok, so I have a pc fan blowing on my plants and they're twitching nicely. However, I watered them today (this morning) a bit round the stem and the rest round the edges. And now the leaves are pointing straight upwards but they seem to be going higher than the circular leaves, so I don't know if they're getting taller or something.. No withering or visible light burn.

If that made any sense ?

We're on the same terms then :p

I don't want it to get too serious yaknow. Just a little plant for a bit of bud will do me.

There is definite development though! :D

Looks like it has gone back to height > leaf span.
