Is my plant stretching?

My plant in the last 24 hours, Broke out of the seed and grew an inch.

I am using a 50W HPS but to me it looks stretched but I would not mind another persons opinion.

seedlings usually stretch at first how far is the hps away? you could always throw a few cfls in there if you really wanted

Well I thought that would be the problem that it is to far away but I made it about 3" away from it.

There is a plastic dome over the HPS bulb so it isn't like it will burn it.

I must say I am considering it but I do not want it to get to hot in there because of it being such a small little spot. It is 20 inches x 20 inches.

It looks fine but cover up the light part of the stem with some more soil, it looks like the seed wasn't quite planted deep enough.

I did that a few minutes ago because if you just touched my plant it would fall over.

is there a fan blowing on it? to strengthen the stem?...it well help cool the bulb too and you can get rid of that plastic...i mean this is what results with proper lighting Random Dank Seeds 400 W HPS - Marijuana Growing

Yes there is a fan in there but not really direct at the stem.

But you are also using a 400W HPS.

yea but its in a 6' x 6' area on 5 plants in 5 gallon buckets and 1 in a gallon bucket so i needed more wattage one plant with 50 isnt gonna be shabby, its all how the set-up and what not is

See I am doing it in a PC Case and I am afraid if I move the plastic cover that it will get way to hot in there.

it won't if you have adequate ventilation both in and out of the box...and the lumens not lost will amaze you

I don't know if I should remove it because it gets hot in there with the plastic cover on.

And there is reflective material in the PC Case to.

Here is some updates pictures, The fan leaves I think they are called (The first set up of leaves that come up when it sprouts) look better because before they were angled up.

Now it looks flat which I suppose is a good sign but here is some updated pictures.

Since yesterday it is now starting to grow the blade leaves which it did not have yesterday.

I wonder if this is normal for it to be growing so fast, but could it be from it being a Auto and finishing so fast?

maybe its just stretching for light....a cfl doesnt create much heat and maybe you could put one of those in there and that would help

A 6x6 area for a 400w light. You have plenty of room.
Take of that plastic light cover and hit it with a fan to blow the hot air up and away from the plant. Throw another fan on your plant for stem strengthening. It'd be different if the light cover was clear glass but the cover you have on it is dulling the light.

really it gets into the nieties for me....but its in a closet with an inline fan pulling the hot air away and a box fan blowing around the closet...i could put in ducting to help i know, but i cant on this room...but when i move it i can

If you're getting into the 90's add CO2 to your room. CO2 will allow your plants to tolerate higher temps and thrive rather than slow down
