Hey so yesterday I put in 2 27w CFL 6500k for 2 of my seedling of THC BOMB, I water a little bit every day btw! (like pretty little). This morning they looked great! Then i came home from work and they BOTH fell oveR!!! :( :( :(IMG_1417.jpg

I just watered both a good watering (not flooded tho)!

Whats wrong, DID i under wateR? Did they stretch to much and fall over? (never had proper light set up for first week)

Pleaseee help!!! I cant bear the thought to lose my only 2 seemingly healthy plants!

And no the stems didnt snap!

pot them in soil up to the first set of leaves.

AND move the lights closer. t5 or cfl up to 2" close.

Your lights were not low enough, they streched too much, that's why they flopped over. Stake them up and lower you lights, they should survive. btw what lights are you using ?

any way to fix that problem? Ill have a fan going in there by the end of today, hopefully theyll bulk up their stalks? Did i fuck em up or can they still do well?

A fan will also help make sure it's not too hard, the air movement should just "wiggle" the plant a little, that will help strengthen the stem.

Alright, when I transplant (in about a week) ill plant more than half the stem, is that fine? since I just staked them and moved the lights down as welll as put a fan on! Im so pissed at myself =\ I just didnt want to burn the poor bastards!

Does this have a long term effect on the plant if I correct the situation as well as add some air movement? AKA will i expect a smaller plant, less yeild, worse quality, etc.

wont repotting up to first set of leaves cause the main stem to rot?
good question but no your main stem will become part of the root system. it SHOULDNT get stem rot. ive never had the problem.

and if you dont get your lights closer it'll just happen again

In my experience ( I've had that happen to me once) I don't think it will efect the growth period. As far as transplanting up to the first set of leaves, I've never tried it tho there are lot on here who claim it can be done.

That's pretty much exactly what you want to do. :) Bury those stems as much as you can & roots will come out of them, so it's not all bad to have it grow like that.
just don't bury any leaves and nothing will rot.

I've had a couple of grows that the light was too high, so the seedlings stretched for the light and flopped over.
