have you thought about putting extra co2 in the room if not try 2 cups of sugar mixed in water with some yeast in a bottle [plastic] with a tube to take the co2 to the plants [they love co2]try adding a couple of low energy flourescents in the 2700k range to give you more light closer to the plant to brighten shady spots i use 20w a bulb 3 bulbs plus a 125w envirolite 2700k for two if you cant find 2700k use warm white they have a red spectrum that works

I would take the lower branches for clones, leave the tops and trigger away. I trigger mine at 21 days after cutting the clone, my veg time is actually about 11 days. Bigger plants do not equal more yield, especially when you do not have the right amount of light, I would go on e-bay they have good 600 watt complete digital setups for 234$ Pretty cheap and your additional yield will make up for the outflow of cash. Overall your plants look great and healthy , very good as a first timer.

yea well I smoke one and read about it online almost every day for the past 2 months lol so Im not expecting to get an outrageous amount I just wanna know I can get some good green and maybe next time what I learned now will make it better, plus next time i'll get seeds online.
But fa real thanks I read somewhere else that it was good to remove the bottom small leaves and let the plant concentrate just on the larger leafs and bud sites so I guess I might give that a try.... And you really think for like 4 or 5 plants a 400 HPS isn't enough?

Its still a little light, and when you do the calculations you get more lumens per watt with a 600 than with any other combination's. The bottom branches are not that usefull , and cutting them produces less stress for the plants and they make great clones. When you look at pics of giant colas you are looking at plants that have not been topped.
When you trigger them , leave them alone. Only take leaves that are more than 50%dead or you will create a hormonal imbalance that will take about a month to repair.

Well good nes out of my 6 plants 1 was a male and it looks like the other 5 are females.... Its only like a week and a half into 12/12 is it clear to say all of the 5 with the female V hairs are females for good and not hermies?
