So did the founders have the ability to look forward a couple hundred years and see the world as we see it? U think that they envisioned world travel with such ease for the masses ?

Did they have the ability to see the complex and very connected world we live in now ?
Then amend the Constitution, do not ignore it.

Libruls want to just throw the constitution overboard whenever it doesn't suit them. They argued that any right to bear arms applies only to muzzle loaders because that's all the founders had. If that were the case, the first amendment would apply only to 18th century printing presses, and not to any broadcast or electronic medium. When libruls like the implications, THEN the constitution works just fine for the present age.

so does the right to bear arms mean you can have a nuclear weapon as well ????

Lol nice try, your hero was the one that brought race into it during his CNN interview, like i said exactly WTF does "we should be looking at people that look like terrorists" mean ?

He talks race issues in code all the time, so answer the question
Teaching how to roll is great, but your comments are asinine at best.

That was Rand standing behind his principles. Less Government and more Liberty. Its unconstitutional for them to pat you down and it was nice to see him stand for what he believes in.

I think Rand was just being difficult..If he does not want to get checked, after he makes the alarm go off; he can always just drive.

How did our founding fathers appeal government over reach? Maybe we should formulate a modern approach.
We gotta overthrow it. Pretty much written into the constitution already. Politicians dont like to talk about it very much though.

The founding fathers knew we would get back to this point by studying history. Nothing has changed in 500 years.

Doesn't answer my question....why does he speak about race in code all the time?

Why won't he just come out and say it plainly? Fuck it I'll answer

Because his answer really means "I'm a white guy why search me?" " you should be searching brown skinned people"

are you being satirical? or are you just dumb? a sitting US Congress Member is boarding a plane to attend his meeting in DC and you think he is a reasonable suspect as a terrorist?

do you see how dumb that sounds? i mean i think it is clever that you were able to pick out a single line of his statement and try to highlight underlying racist tendencys, but the sad truth is, how many middle aged white males have blown up planes in recent years? it is possible to hide the obvious behind tedious controversy......

and im sorry i'm not calling you dumb, i am simply fursturated at you tactics to avoid the real problem, and focus on the specifics.

"When an irregularity is found during the TSA screening process, it must be resolved prior to allowing a passenger to proceed to the secure area of the airport," the agency said Monday in a written statement. "Passengers who refuse to complete the screening process cannot be granted access to the secure area in order to ensure the safety of others traveling."

U.S. security officials denied that Rand Paul was held by the agency. Instead, they said the senator was escorted out of the security area after his refusal to accept a pat-down after his trip through one of the agency's X-ray machines caused issues.

Seems like Rand was looking to promote his and Daddy Rons cause to eliminate the TSA... I'm sure they will get a fund raiser out of this...

YES, BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW WHAT A FABULOUS CONTRIBUTION THE TSA HAS BEEN TO AIRLINE SECURITY...

Have they caught any terrorists yet? Nope, but they made damn sure that no citizen in America traveled with more than 4oz of hair conditioner in their carry on.

i must say if the statement from this "one other person" is true i then it takes a small amount of creditability from Rand Paul but but does nothing to change the injustice of TSA.

that is what many forget.

just out of curiosity, does each airline have the option of requiring TSA searches or has the government take control that aspect of the free market? like they did with restraunts and bar owners rights to offer or not offer a smoking section?
