Is runoff ec that important if plants are looking good?
You're growing plants, not runoff numbers so if the plants look good, they're good.Is runoff ec that important if plants are looking good?
This looks okay? Day 30 since 12/12You're growing plants, not runoff numbers so if the plants look good, they're good.
That said, if you're brand new and don't have a recipe dialed in yet, then checking runoff EC in coco can help you dial it in. If all looks good and you don't want to bother checking, then don't worry about it unless shit starts looking off.
Your plants look great! Is runoff ec that important if plants are looking good?
So do you think I should lower the ec imput?Your plants look great!
Runoff EC can be a valuable data point, and can help to nip potential issues in the bud, so to speak.
For instance, if the runoff EC is rising day after day, that's indicative that the plant is consuming less than it's being fed and is an indication to lower the input EC. The reverse is also true.
No, I know nothing about your grow and your plants look fine.So do you think I should lower the ec imput?

I don't see a reason to change anything.
Runoff EC 0.2-0.3 over input EC is perfectly normal.moment ago

Okay I won't change anything but would you do a mini flush with the same nutrient mix I'm currently using? Just to bring it closer to input as when I checked last week it was 0.2-0.3 over input and now it's closer to 0.9
OK thank you very much for the adviceRunoff EC 0.2-0.3 over input EC is perfectly normal.
If it increased to 0.9, you might consider lowering the input EC.
So I lowered my feed from 2.6ec to 2.2ec and have given them 8L each over the last 18 hours. The runoff has lowered to 2.8ec, which is pretty perfect to what I was feeding them at 2.6. Would you put the feed back up to 2.6 or continue at 2.2 lower the runoff abit more then carry on with normal feeds at 2.2?Runoff EC 0.2-0.3 over input EC is perfectly normal.
