im 8-9 weeks into flowering and i was wondering is she ready to be cut down? i havent got a microscope so i cant tell. is their any other ways to tell with out having to use a microscope?
im using fcl and led's. ive posted a pic just to show u wat i mean. plz ppl advice me as i dont want to fuck up ive come to far to mess it up now :)

British Columbia? yeah man it's wayyy too hard to tell without a microscope. To be honest the buds still look a little sparse and spindly IMO. I would wait a bit longer, but then again it could just be the strain your growing. I can't tell, sorry. I'm thinkin you need to go out and find someone with a microscope or buy a cheap 30x magnifier. You can harvest anytime but the trichomes depict the kind of high you will get. Personally I would harvest when trichs are just starting to go cloudy and a bit amber. Hope this helps.

nah im south american colombian lol not bristish columbia lol
im feeling inpatient the pack said 8-9 weeks of flowering but im using fcl and leds do this lights make the bud take longer than usual?
aqnd is their no other way to tell with out microscope? and i can i cut some of the lower leaves to get her to concetrate on the main buds?
and shes indica/sativia

ya i heard when growing with CLF's your buds will take a week or two longer and breeders seem to give like the earlyest harvest date possible. wait it out you'll prolly end up with a half O more

also they assume that your growing with hydro witch also finishes weeks sooner

so if it says 8-9 weeks on the pack, it means 8-9 weeks from the day they start showing buds/sex, not from the day you flip it to 12/12. i wanted to make that clear, that was something i was confused about for a little bit.

i have a friend grows with cfl and i gave her one of my clones and it takes her longer to harvest than me. and she started to flower before me. like a whole 3-4 weeks longer.

but por sierto you will need a microsope to get the best quality smoke from the bud.
personally i would wait another 2 weeks to harvest.

no hydro here ppl just normal soil :( im gonna leave her for 2 more weeks then im cutting her down because she has more than 50% red hairs. and wer can i buy a microscope im in the uk and how much?

gracias Im The Fire Man i was thinking the same im gonna wait 2 weeks then harvest. ive cut some of the lower branches today to stress the plant and making her concetrate on the buds.
from 2day the count down begins.
can some 1 plz explain to me why my other 4 strains aint as ready as my main 1 they all started at the same time but 1 of them looks more ready then all the others how comes? ive been doing the samething to all of them and they all get the same amount of lights.

ok the other thing i wanted 2 ask. it may sound a abit stupid to most but like i said b4 this is my 1st grow and i need as much info as possible.

how comes my buds dont get big when using fcl and LED's my grow box temp is around 26-30C and i have a lot of lighting. im abit confused????

cfl and led's light doesn't penetrate a as deep as hps so it just grows the outside of the buds out and not deep into the bud making it more airy and not as big.

intresting. i might look out for some hps but the only problem with them is that it gives soooo much heat and i dont fancy the cops knoking down my door 4 5plants of persy.

there are so any things in your house that make heat even as much as a 400 watt hps and even venting outside the house looks like a dryer. indoor growers get busted cause they can't keep there mouths shut not choppers over head

ok im in 10 weeks of flowering ppl and i think 1 of them is ready she is coverd in red hairs ill say 90% - 95% of the plant is coverd in red hair. i know u guys are saying to check under a microscope but i aint got 1. i just hope my boy who coming back from Amsterdam 2day (lucky bastard lol) bought 1.
i so wanna cut her down but i know u guys are gonna say impatience is the key :(
