5x may be enough for you to see and maybe enough to get some magnified pics up, I can't see any more white hairs forming but am far from the expert on when to chop

That might be ready to chop right now. It might be right in a week. You kinda need to look at the trichomes to judge what kind of high you want and chop it then.

Ok well they aren't amber yet at least to my eyes they look really milky should I wait?

Again thats up to you. Different highs out of Different maturities of trichomes.

Cloudy more awake high the more amber the more slowed down put a dent in the sofa type of shit.

I wait for 15% amber or so. Thats to ensure as many of the clear have turn cloudy as possible before my weed turns into ambien.
