Is that true?

I was researching some seed banks online and noticed that they claim that some seeds such as the fem white widow seeds could yeild up to like 550 grams per squar meter(m^2) is that true IF NOT then how much can a fem white widow plant yield? IF SO that would mean the plant could yeild 500 per square meter so the plant could yeild like a thousand grams as a hole. right? If so is there a way to max the yeild because I want to buy those fem white widow seeds. Also which seed banks are the best.

That 500 grams per square meter i think generally refers to if it is grown in optimum conditions and done in a sea of green method

So its true then i thought they were lying. But What is a sea of green method?

The yeild on the seedbank sites is just an estimate really to give you an idea of how much you COULD yeild, thats why every strain usually has a differnt yeild per sq. meter.

And nirvana or attitude is tha only ones ive used with no problems.

sea of green is a lot of small plants grown closely together, you could easily fit 16 plants in 1 square meter.

But I thought that the plants need room so the leaves could breath. Wouldn't that method harm the plants if all of them are that tight together.

Apperntly not, google it and you will see,, ive personally never done it but ive seen it done plenty of times,, seemorebuds did 300 plants in a 4x6 space and yeilded 6 pounds,, so it definatly works.

300 plants X 500 per square meter= is like 330 pounds. Only 6 pounds out of 300 plants wow!!!

How much would 20 fem white widow seeds under 600 watt mh and hps light yield?

since uve never grown before ill give you this thread right here,, it was this dudes first grow and he only used 2 fem white widow and 2 fem wonder woman and got a little over a pound in like 3 1/2 months with 1 600w mh for veg and 1 600w hps for flower. You might wanna look into FIM and LST though.

This journal is badass cuz it shows all tha pics in the first 12 posts from seed to 2 weeks before harvest. Definately a must read for a first time grower.

wow you totaly missed the concept,, it was 300 plants in a little over 2 square meters.

when they say yeild is 500g/m sq. that means in one square meter you COULD get 500 grams regardless if you have 1 plant or 300.

maybe you shouldnt start growing until you study a lil more and grasp the basic concepts of growing weed and basic math.

I have just read the journal it was fucking amazing this guy minitrees did everything to the T but I am using hydro and he was using soil so I don't see how that could help me plus I think my grow room is better.

Here is the layout: Space 6x6x8, a 600 watt mh and hps light, 2 florescent (1 cool & 1 warm 60 watts each) side lights on both sides of the wall, 2 acolating fans on opposite corners on the room, ac/heat vent duct in room, a 424 cfm carbon scrubber over the grow area (no duct running sucking and releasing in the room), 2 resviours 4 pumps leading to 4 crates that house 6 plants each total of 24 plants, plus mylor every where from wall to wall-floor to ceiling-wall to wall, also attached a green light bulb to the ceiling so i could do my maintanace while having some light that will not harm or damage my kids. So what do you guys think about the area I'm planing on putting 24 fem white widow seeds. Any ideas on improving the space will be helpful thx

I wouldn't cram 20 plants under only 1 600w hps, maybe 10, and under optimal conditions you could probably yeild a pound or more.

Every single part of a seeds description is based on the right pheno in the right conditions grown by someone with the right skills. THC levels come from the same set of people and so dont yields. If you think you will buy a pack of seeds that claim 550/m2 and 25% THC and you think that is what you will end up with you are sadly mistaking in a majority of cases.

Any plant can produce an infinite amount of weed by mothering and cloning. The life span of a mom kept in green is unknown.

We are not talking about cloning here but thanks for the useless input.

your right however, in this case, for a first timer, for optimal conditions, 2 plants max, 1 x 600w will cover a 1m squared space perfectly, trying to maintain plants on there own is a effort let alone trying to control multiple plants plus there environment for a beginner....less plants, more success, expand on the 2nd grow.....increase your knowledge & skills first.
