Not gonna argue with anything you mentioned, but I learned my lesson from growing bag seeds. True females aren’t suppose to produce seeds, and if they do, I chalk that up to bad genetics, and I’d rather not grow from bad genes. Never had a bag seed not hermie on me, and my grow environment is top notch, so it has nothing to do with the grow process. But hey, if people wanna take a chance and hope for a good plant, good luck and the best of wishes to you.

What I was actually driving at is you have absolutely no way of knowing if bag seeds came from hermies or stray pollen. Or in the case of schwag or mids, a complete lack of caring if there were males around.

Ive seen it happen and given it was one plant out of 5 grown in the exact same conditions I chalked it up to bad genetics. It did a weird thing where it made little banana looking things on the buds and I was like "ok wtf is that" a couple days later bam open sack and thanks to there being 3 fans total we just kinda assumed all the others got hit. Luckily it was not my grow/investment so I didnt lose out, and the dude acted like the loss was no biggie so eh, it was a good learning experience for me though. So the short on that, yeah the shit can happen with everything on our end being perfect, just bad genes and no way to tell that shit till it happens.
For the record, while technically "hermie"... a female left past bloom will in fact pollinate herself and the seeds will be feminised and have a few hermies here and there. Next time you harvest, test my word out. You'll see. It's not good practice because of the hermaphrodite aspect. But by all means, females do produce seeds without intervention or environmental "issues". Self pollination is due to stress, sure. But in nature it's far from an issue. It's normal.
Yes and no on your first statement...dont know about the second tbh. Reason I say yes and no on the first is because the bagseed I threw down came from some really f'ing good green, which is why I planted it in the first place and decided to start a small indoor garden. I got at least 2 years worth of seed from a couple of purchases...maybe like 8 grams total. So in my vast smoking experience I have found that you are generally right, more seeds less buzz, but with this green it was more seed same great buzz...half (almost exactly which is weird) were male. So ton of bagseed...yes, shitty weed....no, outdoors...most likely.
Yes, it's because the more pollen it receives, the less it needs to produce the good stuff. Trichomes/resin are part of the sexual reproduction system in cannabis. The later in life(grow season) it gets, the more she craves to be pollinated, and the sweeter and stickier she "dresses herself up". Then, once she's knocked up, she will pretty much come to a halt. Especially if there was a lot of pollen. It's just like a human. Once she found somebody to knock her up, she doesn't try too hard any more lol The more seeds, the less room for thc production because her body has switched to producing seeds. I'm not too deep into the botany yet, but I'd bet they require the same hormones or something. In your situation, I'd be willing to bet on a later pollination. I've had KILLER dispensary bagseed.
