Does anybody know of any techniques to feminize regular seeds? I've heard of a method using banana peels in a ziplock with the seeds, but don't want to ruin my seeds without some reliable info. Can anyone help? Cheers

no regular seeds are regular seeds...a femenized seed is when a femenized plant hermis and knocks itself up. those seeds are femenized.

I've ordered all regular beans instead of feminized beans from nirvana, is there a way to influence these seeds to become predominately female?

no...the cake is cooked...you can get feminized seeds from your females by putting them into shock- put them in temps between 38 and 45 degrees while flowering, and they should grow nads; which will polinate everything in sight with feminized seeds...but what it sounds like you really want is no males...sorry!the seeds are formed. that's IT... I have space to work with, so males are part of the operation...but that's a different matter.I have issues with feminized seeds(has to do with hybrid vigour mostly).

I didn't buy feminized beans coz I heard & read that a lot turn out to be male, so I went with regular ones & was just gonna hope & pray that the majority were female! Then I read a post somewhere about being able to influence the seeds to produce a majority of females. I guess I'll just hope & pray, cheers bro

the seeds I got from subcool, and british hempire were very high percentage female. my own white crosses were high female as well(4 males out of 24)...probably because they're grown organic...I focus more on individual mothers, and clone away!

I have never had a feminized seed turn out to be a male. exposing seeds to ethylene gas (naturally given off by ripe bananas and apples) for two weeks prior to germination is SUPPOSED to increase female offspring. Vegging with 6500 K light is a good one too.

Grow More Females From Seed.
"Environmental factors start influencing sex the moment the seedling has three pairs of true leaves ( not counting cotyledons).
Environmental factors that influence sex determination of cannabis include but are not limited to;
Increasing the level of nitrogen makes more female plants. Lower the nitrogen level to create more male plants.
Increase the level of potassium to increase male tendencies; lowering the potassium level encourages female plants. A higher nitrogen level and a lower potassium level for the first 2 weeks increases females.
Low temperatures increase the number of female plants. Warm temperatures make more male plants.
High humidity increases the number of female plants. Low humidity increases male plants.
Low growing-medium moisture increases males.
More blue light increases the number of female plants, more red light increases male tendencies.
Fewer hours of daylight (eg. 14 hours) increases the number of females. Longer days (eg. 18 hours) makes more male plants.
Stress : any environmental stress tends to yield more male plants when growing from seed."
When i grow outdoors in winter i tend to grow more females ; Lower temps , Shorter hours of daylight.

"Beat off in the soil/reservoir"? Are you serious? I'm using coco coir! When you bust a nut on your soil how much do you use? R there multiple applications? And what the hell is a "Queer plant"? There's male, female & hermie! Mate, good luck with your technique it sounds like its working for u, but I'll wait for some more response's lol.Actually, you need to beat off in the Soil/ Resevoir.
If they come out female then you did a good job but sometimes you can get Queer plants, it's 50/50
