Is there anything currently better then amare?

This right?

They don't name leds used. But say blah blah blah and better than white leds. Same wattage of cobs would crush that. And that costs fuckin 2300$.

You asked I answered. They don't say shit about led manufacturers or model or bin. Any company that uses great leds brags about it. That's another Chinese pannel just different case than mars.

Sorry. Half that money in cobs would crush that light.
So you don't know what driver or lamps they use right?

CREE® CXA 2530 x 6 plus some fancy leds and a t5 tube? 450 watts

vs Bridgelux Vero29 V7 Type C COB x 12. 900 watts.

I am going to say the 12x bridgelux blows the other one away.
They use 3070 on the SE450 / Pro 3, and 3590 on the pro 4. I don't think anyone pays full price for amare if they send Victor a message. Just FYI. Timber with the new Vero is no doubt a solid offering, as is PLC, Tasty, Northern, Johnson, BCblondes, and for DIY Cobkits. Plenty of great choices these days.

The guy that runs the Maximizer did a side by side with the Black dog 800. The MAXIMIZER came out on top at a 200 watt disadvantage to the Black dog.

You wanna justify your poor purchase then don't ask people's opinion.
Not justifying shit and certainly not hanging on to your bullshit contrived opinion. You may be right btw and I believe it is suspect as well but without knowing you are doing nothing more than shoveling bullshit.

Will you please add a line break so people are certain the MAXIMIZER beat the BLackdog 800 china pannel paper weight.

I'm pretty sure Black dog didn't use the worst Chinese parts. The Epistars are better than they used to be. Epistar is basically Gen3 Cree where Cree is on Gen5-Gen6. They actually licensed the Gen3 tech from Cree.

I will open it up soon and void the warranty
I wouldn't. It would take you hours trying to match leds with picture models. You can do that from the emmiter side the other side is just board it's on.

I'll save you some work. Look through epistar leds.

Again, most people don't seem to pay MSRP. It's in line with all other offerings around here price wise, even at msrp. It's about 2 bucks/w realistically. Little less for the less efficient models. Probably not the best, but far from being as bad as some around here feel.

When I had my modules built, they cost me 1.69/W, and depending on how I run them I can get anywhere between 56% and 60% efficiency.

If you are even thinking about amare might as well buy Kind LED...

350w....$1145 doesnt seem inline with the places I shop. esp with 2530 CXA's

They need to upgrade to the times and I am afraid to see their prices if they did! lol!

For the sake of honest disclosure on the thread's mentioned company.. SE450 = CXB3070 and CREE XP-C2/XPE2 (these may be new iterations now, who knows) It's 450w. They've had an old version of their site up for a while now for whatever reason.

Wow! This is crazy.
First off, nobodies even asked if you're happy w/ the one you own. I know I am, so much I just lit my 15'x4.5' w/ Pro-4's.
The guys giving advice here are biased, infamous Amare haters whom ignore results & facts just to hate.

Facts on Amare:
-poeple pay -$2 a watt, nobodies EVER paid msrp that I'm aware of.
-I've never meet a person unsatisfied w/ the product or the service
-great results everywhere you look
-5 yr warranty
-models/fixtures made to suit different grow requirements & sizes

I'm so sorry that you've been greeted by false info.
Aside from the three that are trying to offer truthful info.
They are definitely one of the best out there all around.

Timbers are nice if you want plain cobs & DIY.
Personally, I like the option to veg under my Amare's & firmly believe in the enhanced spectrum.
They beat out my HPS every time. That is documented.

My recommendation is that you look for side by side grows using Amare & Plain Cobs. The results are undeniable.

Good luck!
Be careful taking advice from poeple who don't know anything about the product & selectively disregard the facts.
