Is there anyway to save them

I've had the worst luck in trying to grow, these are the first 2 that ever sprouted so they mean a lot to me and I'm a little depressed to see them like this but here's my set up I have 3 6500 cfl lights the plants are about 10in away , my medium is rockwool one was germinated in a glass of water and the other was germinated in the rockwool . There's good air circulation and the temp is between 75-79 . I'm guessing I over watered the first one yesterday but this morning the 2nd one just fell over and the cube was dry there both sitting under the light 20hrs on 4hrs off . Sorry if this question is stupid I usually try and search through the forum for answers so I don't have to bother anyone but I can't find anything on how to save them even on google .

Canna is resilient! Keep the dome on and burp a couple times a day too get fresh air. Only mist em once a day as needed n let em grow. She likes a warming pad underneath to keep roots warm if u have one.

Most importantly keep a detailed journal of ur grow so u can keep track of all of ur lessons learned!

Those cubes look too wet to me, they should only ever be damp. Try to get the water out of them by holding them in your hand and flicking your wrist like the nurses do with the old mercury thermometers (only way i could describe it lol) don't hurt the seedlings though.
DO NOT squeeze them to get rid of excess water, the cubes will not hold air once you squeeze.

The rock wools kinda dry I put the cover back on a put the heating pad back in there should I mist or water the cubes

Personally i would mist them but if you are going to water then take the cube and just dip the corner into water for a few seconds, it will wick up enough water to moisten the cube without soaking it.

Maybe you should skip rock wool and try soil first, more forgiving.

10 in away? that seems a little far to me. I keep mine about 2-3 inches away. at 10 inches, light is nearly non existent at that distance. move them up.

I tried soil first never once got any results

I don't know about you 402, but my humidity dome alone is 10"h , so taking in consideration 1-1/2" for the rock wool the closest u can even get with dome lid on is 8-1/2" if ur touching the top. Though I do agree once my girls have clearly rooted n transplanted into 1 gal u can get very close. IMO 4-6" is suffice

My opinion, use peat moss, just soak it for a few hours then softly squeeze out excess water. You can transplant it right into the soil once it sprouts. I usually germinate them in a damp cloth inside a ziplock, once they show the root, usually within a week (I order from Sea of Seeds) use a tweezers to put them into a damp peat moss cube and then put a humidity dome over it, you can even just put the ziplock over it. and it will work fine.

!!Make sure you water is PH balanced at this point!!

and then just let it grow and add water as needed by spraying the humidity dome or as someone said dipping the peat moss cube, but make sure you don't soak it.

Hope this helps man the second plant looks salvageable but if they tip over it's usually over.
If you had any seeds that aren't seeming to do anything you can always try to take them out of the cube and put them into the peat moss to save time and money.

10" away is fine, you're not trying to grow leaves you're trying to grow roots and cuttings only need enough light to know its daytime until they have those roots.

Thanks guys I think there gonna make it, the one that fell over I used some ties to stand it up and the inner leaves appear to be growing as for the other one its standing strong thanks a lot for helping me save them

Good news, now don't smother them with kindness, they dont need any food for at least 2-3 weeks and just a sip of water now and again and they'll be fine

What are you watering with? Tap water, reverse osmosis, ph'd?? Did you presoak your cubes ? You can keep a small cup of water or wet towel in the dome to keep the humidity up.

What a train wreck this thread is.... No dome no heat mat, leave then in open air and water when needed that's it, not rocket science

Distilled water . Yea I soaked them in distilled water for 24 hrs

When I start my clone or seed I soak my cubes/coco in a bucket w/air stone with very weak nutrient&cal/mag solution( 1ml/gallon) and orca(liquid mycorrhizae)ph 5.9. The mychorrizae will attach to the roots(fuzzy white stuff)and help nutrient intake.

Are you planning on hydro? DWC ? What nutrients are you going to feed it?

Nothing looks wrong but a little bit wet so idk what your worried about
is it because one is slightly slouched over just give it a couple of days
it should sprout right up.
