Ya I been looking on eBay I'm runnin 400w. I have like four 400w MH ballast and one HPS. I was thinking about running 2 10,000k at end of flower and then the HPS in the middle.

I noticed how much less lumens the 10000k bulbs put out. It would be at about 40000lumens with two and 50000lumens with the HPS 90000 total.. 4x4 space

1 1000w in a 4x4x6 if u try more u are going to have heat issues u will never solve

ok here is the hid footprint
1000w is good for a 6x6 but great for a 5x5
600w is good for a 5x5 but great for a 4x4
400w is good for a 4x4 but great for a 3x3

as for heat u get hotter temps the more watts ...... the 2 600w in the 4x4x6 i did i used a 400fm exhaust fan and a 240 intake fan to control the temps keeping the area the air is drawlen from 68/70 f degrees

and as for lumens u want the 1000w
those bulbs i linked u are 10000 lumens over standard from last time i checked .....i moved to LEDs since

yah the 1000w finisher is 107 k lumens
400w is 35k lumens
the 1000w is a better value ....even 3 400w (1200w) is only 105k

well make sure it is digital .....theses bulbs are made for digital ballast not magnetic
and if it is one of those dial a power 100% 75% 50%.....always keep it on on 100% it damages the bulb otherwise and the light waves are not correct

What happens to them on Magnetic? jw? THey are magnetic, im a cheap ass

to be 100% honest........no clue
1 it does not light up
2 it does light up
3 it does light up and then blows ups

if u are going to do it .......make sure u use a cool tube atleast that way if does blow chance to contain it not wrecking the grow

but i personally would not do it u can not use those bulbs u have to make sure u get one designed for magnetics
