Is there mold/rot here

So I posted a picture on another site and a couple people got me tripping about mold.

This plant is 10 weeks into flower and some of the fans just started dying.


This is what I originally posted

After the mold comments I cut that bud, the stalk was nice and white where I cut it.

Then I cut the bud in half

It looks fine to me, but I’ve never seen mold or bud rot. The coloring in some spots kinda worries me but I think it’s just from the purple leaves.

Looks clean. One way to tell is to break up a fresh Bud infront of a fan on low in good light. If you see a little puff of white smoke come out of the bud, that's the spores being released and you have botrytis.

Pretty sure you posted a batch of buds that had rot on them

like the guy above me said you'll see a puff of spore, can't really miss it.

I'm kinda conserved about your leaves tho. I have a similar thing on mine. wasn't watering to runoff and was bulding up salts

Ok good thanks guys.


Yeah some of the fans started dying off, I definitely let it get too dry last time which I think made things worse.


I was hoping to go another two weeks but we’ll see how long they make it.


Also the really splotchy yellow and green leaves at the bottom left are another plant. Pretty sure that one wasn’t getting enough food cuz the leaves stopped getting worse once I fed it.
