i looked at my babies this morning and saw that the leaves are already drooping, i know they are young but is this a problem?

bring your lights a bit closer and be sure that you dont overwater them. plants at this stage need hardly any water. although most small seedlings look like this until the leaves have fully extended the soil looks very damp dont water until soil is dry about an inch down.

It looks like you might be drowning your plants a bit. Little plants don't need a ton of water just yet as the roots aren't as deep.

dude that is a perfectly normal looking seedling.When seedlings are growing at the start they twist round and round ,looks like it's just in the middle of a twist ,looks fine


go to you tube and seach cannabis seedling time lapse and youll see what i mean

Ur pic seems to show a very, very new seedling that looks about 3 days old. Inwhich case i'm guessing the leaves ur referring to as drooping are the little, rounded off cotyledon leaves - these are purely just initial start-up leaves and will naturally droop down & die off as the new, proper ridged leaf sets start to grow above.


And everyone else is totally right about over-watering as well - ur seedling is barely even a plant yet & will not need much water at all.

yea i have most likely been over watering them, i like to call it over loving them lol thanks guys, ill probably not water them tomorrow. is that a good idea?

wait until the surface of the soil is dry...you can't go wrong this way..trust me you won't under water them ...as long as there is still moisture on the surface of the soil there is still loads of moisture way down in there..so you can let the surface dry out knowing that..
