Listen all people gotta learn somehow that's what this is for hence the name newbie central
I agree, but for some questions like, "what does a weed sprout look like?" There's literally thousands of pictures to tell you what you don't have in front of you. I'm a newbie too been growing for 3 months. Far, far from expert grower but I see value in first trying to solve my own problems best i can and using the plethora of information already so kindly put up by experienced growers ... which is abundant. To not use resources out there is foolish. All that i'm saying.Listen all people gotta learn somehow that's what this is for hence the name newbie central

The cotyledon (first pair to show) of a cannabis seed does not have lobes like the one in your picture. In my opinion, the longer you let the taproot grow before planting, the more you risk damaging it. I usually try to catch them at something like 1/8", but any time after the seed cracks is OK. Of course, you could just put the seed directly into the soil, but I like to watch.I am a new grower is this a cannabis sprout
Its a celosia argentea plantWhat is that
midweeksong.com is awesombuy some seeds boss, plenty of great places to go in the seed and strain review section .. and you'll definitely not have to ask this question lol XD
my luck is the opposite i like to wait till i have closer to 1/2 - 1inch , then i place root down in soil and tip of shell above dirt ( i to like watching) and this method is super fast...The cotyledon (first pair to show) of a cannabis seed does not have lobes like the one in your picture. Don't worry about the heat you took for the question. Lots of short fuses here, unfortunately.
layers arent good for me i had 1/6 germ ratio when using to much paper towel... i cut back to 1 folded in half papertowel on bottom and same on top took about 2-3 days to have a 3/4 inch root... i also use plates not bowls and no holes.... im 6/6 now-2 bowls (what i use)
-paper towel,
-saran wrap to cover bowl.
-(warmth source, not entirely necessary) all you need.
Take 1 bowl fill bottom w/ paper towel folded so its got some layers, then soak the paper towel. Lukewarm water. Not like a puddle in bottom but good and wet.
Put your seeds on top of the wet paper towel. Take some more paper towel put it on top of the seeds and other towel. Add a bit more water, you want it wet, but no puddle. Add more paper towel if you put too much water it'll help to wick it. Put saran wrap over top the first bowl, then poke like three or four 1/2" holes in it so some moisture can escape. Put the other bowl or a plate if you prefer on top, and keep them in a warm place. Plant when you see taproot. long tails are annoying. 100% germ method so far using this, usually pop within 24 hrs then sprout in another 24 hr. If not no worries. Keep em moist dont let dry. Hope this helps sorry was kinda a dick but most answers are already out there. Especially this one. Good growing dude.
Seriously what kind of plant is that I want one it looks kick assWhat is that
