I just switched to bloom on monday and after i gave the girls bud blood i noticed a bit of yellowing in the new growth and some brown spots on some of the older fans. One of these pics is the yellowing and one is of a spot. I dont know if i am being anal because the brown spots are on mabe 1% tops of the leaves and the yellowing, at least from this pic is not too noticable. I did a runoff test last night and the ph was 6.5 (7.0 water i put in.) I am growing in a mix of roots ofganic 707 and coco. I did not rinse the blocks (didnt know untill after)of coco but i did ph the water before wetting it. I am using sensi 2 part. I am aware now that i should be giving veg nutes through the first 2 weeks of bloom but i didn't know before and i gave them a 900 ppm bloom nute when i switched over. Once i noticed a bit of yellowing i added 500 ppm veg nutes and that is when i really noticed the spotting. Also i have been giving a cal mag supp along with advanced's entire line. Any help would be appreciated. Also... i dont know if it is related but it seems like the only plants affected were the ones that were closest to the CO2 line before i moved it above the plants. Thanks again.

if ur in doubt..about ur nutes, about not flushing the coco etc the FLUSH!! pH and re-nute! done deal.

and why cal/mag? does ur nutes not have cal/mag in adequate levels?
and dont fret over bloo/veg nutes,.. i personally (and millions more) go flower nutes from day 1 12/12

I have read that available Cal and Mag bind to the coco coir and it is good to supplement as a result of this. I have been giving them 100 ppm of cal mag every feeding as per the reccomendations of a few articles i have read on coco and the rep at advanced also said to do this. will flushing the first week of flower delay the flower setting?

...that second pic looks like a spill, I maybe wrong, but if your leaves get wet under your light while your lights are on, you'll get burn spots like that.

I think you may be right about the spill. It is sometimes hard to water my garden and i have not yet set up a drip system. I guess that would also make sense why it is on so few of the leaves. Any idea about the yellowing? Ill post more pics tonight when the lights come back on.

...if your looking at yellowing tips on the leaves (or burnt tips), more than likely your overfertilizing. If the whole plant is yellow it could be nitrogen issues, possibly due to pH. I would give your ladies bloom ferts once in flower, maybe flush if your not certain what your issue is and refertilize 1/2 strength. Good luck.

haha i i guess you should never ask th barber whether or not you need a hair cut. I guess ill lay off the cal/mag and see how it goes. Could it be N lockout if the runoff test showed 6.5? I did test the last 5%. Thanks again and i repped you both.
