good deal in my opinion i need one of those
you can add water to it once it starts to dry out to extend the life of the gel.I just got some of the ona pro gel...great stuff. I used a very small amount and it has eliminated about 80-90% of the odor. Unless replacing it starts to get too expensive, I may not even need the carbon filter.
thanks, that should save a little $$$ +repyou can add water to it once it starts to dry out to extend the life of the gel.

I am assuming you have a 220v hookup for that fan. If so, it should be alright, although maybe a bit loud.
If not, this is what I use that is in the same price range:

I paid about $45 in the store for it. I can give you a link that shows how to mod it if you are interested.
Depending on how big ur duct work is, HomeDepot has a "Booster Fan" for even less than the walmart blower and compairable CFM to the squirrel fan.Hey guys, I am looking around for exhaust fan styles to get a more effective pull through my carbon filter but they are expensive.
I found this guy on ebay, I sent the seller a message about the confusion with the contradicting statements about cfm.
check it out

WOW! what the noise level like? thats some air movin for the price.I have heard good things about the stanleys for the price. I am not a fan of booster fans if your looking for a good inline fan for a reasonable price check out these I just got the 6 inch and it works great

yes my rig is exhausting all my heat and smell.... well the smell part aint workin too great but for the price .....it moves air good, as long as u dont try and put a filter on it. The true specs on the stanley fan are 310 cfm on high which aint bad for the price but it has NO horsepower , so it wont pull/push through anything but a 6" duct. I forgot to turn a/c on last night and it got up to 87F with fans running and blower suckin out. thats with a 1k hps with a giant open hood.I thought about picking one of those up as well..

well I have a friend who has a 4 inch vortex and its no louder than that. my room is in my attic and my bedroom is right underneath and I cant hear it.WOW! what the noise level like? thats some air movin for the price.
I have the 4, 6 and 8" booster fans from Home depot. They are quiet as hell, all of them. They are good for moving air, but not strong enough to pull through a filterDepending on how big ur duct work is, HomeDepot has a "Booster Fan" for even less than the walmart blower and compairable CFM to the squirrel fan.

The 8" duct-fan has free air CFM of 210 and max boosted CFM of 500. It doesn't say how many dB it put out, but the 6" (witch i have running in my closet) is quieter than the thermaltake 120mm fans i replaced it with and they're listed as 21 dBA.
I wraped mine with a sleeping bag and bunj-cord just like in the Grow DVD's...well I have a friend who has a 4 inch vortex and its no louder than that. my room is in my attic and my bedroom is right underneath and I cant hear it.
