The process that triggers the hormones is irrelevant for the outcome. They would be feminized seeds. It's actually how some breeders created fem seeds in the past. They are not guaranteed to hermie either, just as likely do so as its parents. There are not 3 sexes, it's not female, male, hermie. Hermie is not half male or half female either. It's not an animal, it's not that simple.

they are genetically hermie seeds (female/male = hermie).
No.

if you do not have a dominant male plant and the pollen comes from a dominant female plant the offspring has a 98% chance to be a female plant. like i said earlier depending on how badly the plant hermies should be the main factor in considering using its seeds.

people hate on hermies around here but have no clue what they are or why they hate them, most dont even have a clue as tot he biological aspects of marijuanna's reproductive cycle. they just know male + female = seeds and they draw the're own conclusions after that.

i wish i could find the article i read a long while back that went in depth about the charecteristics of the canabis plants reproductive cycle, it dived into hermies and helped me to better understand them..i also used to fear them but now i watch for them and they can actually be a good thing, obviously they can also get out of controll and destroy your sensimilia (seedless marijuanna) but for them to get that out of control and you not notice you would probabally have to never ever visit your grow and if your like most of us your prob in your grow more than 3 times a day if your schedule allows it.
Ya like I said I'm in my grow constantly and if i can't try to remove a few pollen sacs as they pop up i'll try to just keep them in their grow bag and just move them outside...They will have a bit of a temp drop off esp in the night but they are probably flowering at the same time they would naturally outside anyways...The only sketchy thing is I live in a city and flowering them outside a three decker in less then perfect light isn't my preference

Ya it looks like you answered more of my question in your big response and that the seeds could be more feminized then hermafadized if that is even a word haha. Also I agree with you that pictures 2 and 3 on the "A" plant might have balls and picture 3 on the "B" plant as well... I have been checking them every morning and when I get home from work. They havent shown any true sacs yet and if they do pop up in a couple places I might just pull them and try to have them survive outside and see if I can get anything out of them without them fucking up the other 4 plants...My main problem is not having two tents so I could just grow out mother plants for a more consistent result

if its minor you can just pick the immature pollen sacs off and they will never reach maturity and produce pollen. I find it a huge waste to just cut a plant down because of a couple of polen sacs that may open and you might get a few seeds. i mean we have all picked seeds from our bud before..we have all experienced that bag of weed that is more seeds than anything and yes we want to avoid that, BUT we have also experienced finding that one seed in a bag of good green and kinda thinking ""weird" truth is though that one seed in that bag of good green is more than likely a fem seed because that good green was prob a controlled local grow and ended up having a herie go un noticed.

Ya I'm not really hoping for one of the plants to herm on me and get seeds from it...I'm just asking that if I miss a pollen sac and it opens before I pull the hermied plant out of the tent will the seeds that were produced from the non hermied strain be(hermie seeds, feminized seeds, or regular seeds)
Selfed seeds might be a better description and the whole herm thing is a really long debate with many different opinions.

I belive most herms arent actually herms and totally natural for a lot of plants.

The herms i call herms are twisted, started male and turned female halfway through flower or visa versa and look real ugly.

I dont want to get into the debate as wed need to look at its dna and stuff like that to truly identify one.

Stuff that creates myths generally.

yeah screw that, i mean if you feel they are a threat then get rid of em by all means, im just trying to say that not all hermies are a real threat other than a couple seeds here and there...obviously if you start seeing clusters of pollen sacs then you need to remove them but most of the time its just a single random sac, maybe get 3-4 of them single's on different nodes but that many will not "seed out" your entire crop.

yeah you can have a 50/50 male/female plant but that is extremely un common. the more common "hermie" is as i described above with only a couple of sacs spread out around the underside of the plant...also can have naners pop right out of the bud itself and they can cause a few more seeds than the ones on the underneath. but still minimal and the amount of herb your throwing away is just not worth it imo....

i mean what would you rather have......2 months of time and resources like nutes and soil and nothing or 2 month time nutes and resources a quarter pound of herb and a small handfull of seeds.....the choice seems obvious to me but again im a low scale growe who mainly grows for personal use.

if i chucked a plant every time i saw a open male flower i would be fucked, almost every grow i have done had at least one plant hermie a little bit and i have bought seeds from rep breeders.

Ok cool thanks a lot for that advice...Like I said I'm a newbie so this is my first time dealing with hermies if thats what they even are. They def are not throwing up clusters at all but I was just getting very nervous of one tiny sac getting by my opening up and pollinating my whole tent and fucking up all my buds. From the sound of that if i'm looking after these plants as close as I am that worst case they might pollinate a few bud sites but my whole crop won't go to complete shit over a single sac opening....Am I getting that correct for the most part?

yes, you would have to be one very un luckey soab to have one pollen sac pollinate every calyx on your plant...

what happens is the pollen sac opens up and all the pollen is released into the air...the white hairs on the plant are used to catch the pollen, when a pollen hits the white hair it receeds into the calyx and starts forming a seed...prob 95% of the pollen released will get caught on something other than what its supposed to..if not more.

Dude you need to acuratly identify the part of its dna to prove a herm or not. Nannas are so common to growers of female plants that you kinda saying most strains are hermie (read how many different strains growers have reported the odd male pollen sac on). I hope you see my point here. I get nanas on lots of strains but dosent mean their all herms in the acurate sense.

Unfortunatly a lot of this herrm stuff was studied on plants that werent mj plants.

Again herms are a different thing and the odd bananna means nothing. Please i dont want to get into it as not the ops question.

i highly suggest you do your own research and conclusion drawings and not just take my word for it. i only jumped in because people were giving you the "ITS A HERMIE BURN YOUR FUCKING HOUSE DOWN NOW!!" method and i dont feel it was good advice.

unfortunatly with hermies there is a scale where burning your house down may be the best option (just kidding) but i would say 80-90% of the time they can be ignored and still not wreak havoc on your grow..obviously once you learn to identify them you will want to pluck as many as possible but i wouldnt in no way recomend throwing 2 moths of money and time in the trash can over a couple seeds.

the worst hermie i ever had was a blue cheese and it musta popped about 20 nanners or more, i plucked what i could but never got them all..i ended up with maybe 45 seeds in a 5 oz harvest.....blue cheese, awesome bud..you tell me what you would rather have? nothing or 5 oz of blue cheese and 45 free seeds?

Dude i agree and stated i grow them, think they get a bad name frow big grows not small managable grows. What i disputed was what actually classifys as a herm and of the milions of growers and thousonds of strains that make nanas not many are true herms.

I point this out because i agree there not run for the hills monsters people make them out to be. Herm is such an ugly word for a plant that in desperation to be pollen fucked by a male allowed got so desperate it grew the odd nana because hey even though its female it still has the dna to do so.

Dont tell the ladies they dont need us men again ;-)

what im saying is every single marijuanna plant that has ever grwon and will grow (unless they genetically modify them in the future) has the ability to hermaphrodite. its already in the genetic code, its a survival tactic.

like someone above said, hermaphrodite is not a seperate sex, its not male, female or hermaprodite...the plants will always be eithe male or female dominant.. hermaphrodism is a male or female plant CHANGING to adapt to its enviorment/situation and growing the reproductive organs it needs to fill the void.

every dam canabis plant and every strain can become a hermaphrodite..think of a person....no one is born a hermaphrodite, but bitches be going and getting surgery to get a dick, and dudes be going and getting surgery to have some titties and a vag..only difference is its natural for canabis, people are just fucking whacko's

Awe come on, now you're exaggerating. Haha. I hope I wasn't giving OP the impression that he should toss away all his work...just needs to pinch 'em off, and roll with the punches.
yeah no one was too bad in this thread but i have been around long enough to know it was coming sooner or later lol

ok well OP hope all works out, wait a few days then toss a few more pics up and we will see hwere your at..ill follow the thread so when you put em up i can take a look...try and get some more focused pics on the internodes and not the entire plant.

I def agree with you here...I just have two other strains going that are looking sexy and wouldn't want those ones getting pollinated...saying that though seeing how I don't have a flowering tent going and I grow from seed every batch my worst case scenario is they all get pollinated a bit I get some mostly feminized seeds and have to clean my tent thoroughly before I plant my next batch.

they all have the ability to hermie..hermie means both sex's

In biology, a hermaphrodite is an organism that has reproductive organs normally associated with both male and female sexes.

while its not the norm for canabis, they still have the ability.
