I have an agent orange plant that has been flowering for 57 days now and I noticed a ball like thing but im not sure if its a premature seed or a male ball sack. Also, I might just remove it from my grow room and put it in 48 hours darkness starting today and then harvest. You think its ready at 57 days (you can kind of see the trichome colors in the picture)?sd1.jpg

O got to be honest, I have no clue at all. I'm pretty new at this. But, I have to know what you took that picture with? I have a really good camera and I can seem to get that kind of pic.

It is to small at this point. So you either need to take a picture with magnification or just wait. Me? I'd wait and watch it a couple times a day until I saw what it was. Oh and you said the source of this photo was your smartphone? Make sure you do not post any smartphone pictures directly. Their metadata is usually encoded with your GPS coordinates. Strip all meta data prior to posting. Yes RIU's image functions won't display it publicly but you need to make sure that data can't be subpoenaed either.

Thats as big as this site will let me post. But do you think its ready to harvest?
I didn't mean the size of the picture dude. I meant that what it is you're looking at is too wee to even tell what it may or may not be. If I had to take a wild guess it's probably just a random seed pod instead of a proper seed. I have pecked a few out of plants before but I don't think its a sign of a full blown hermie (Im not sure what causes them though). As mentioned watch it VERY closely over the next few days because if it is a hermie you will want it out of your space straight away so it doesn't pollinate any of your other plants.

i was saying that i took a large picture of it and you can clearly see it but i had to shrink the pic to post it. And what do you mean by a proper seed pod and random seed pod.

If you took a larger pic of it to see it, crop that section and upload that section only.

sometimes i have found you can get these little light coloured seeds that just tend to crumble apart between your fingers.
