Looks to be so. As pricey as those beans are I’d pluck them, and move the plant. A lot of time put into it by this point.2 weeks into flower, I thinkView attachment 5135895 one of my phenotypes is turning hermie on me, it's in house genetics sMACkin.
Yeah man, I have put £2,000 into my 4x4 setup, I got a lumatek 465w Zeus pro which cost me £650, my gorilla grow tent was £300, the seeds were £200, My dehumidifier was £300 lol I have spent a shit load of money on this project and probably about £500 on electric over the last 10 weeks and watering until run off everyday is making me super tired all of the time. I would hate to waste all of this time and money just to end up with buds of seed. I felt the hermie part that looks suspect and it feels hard, unlike a Calyx which is soft. Should I wet my finger tips and pluck it off just in case it is a male part?Looks to be so. As pricey as those beans are I’d pluck them, and move the plant. A lot of time put into it by this point.
Do what you will tho.
The cookies pancake line, in house genetics mac-1 mac daddy line is full of hermies. I have only heard bad news and it worries me. I have no where to move it. I have 1 small 4x4 tent and that's it dude.Thats a young plant too have balls. Agree with Hydro too move it . Thats a true intersex. Your canopy will fill back in.
Pick off anything you suspect and keep going. It’ll probably stop producing them after a while. The cookies pancake line, in house genetics mac-1 mac daddy line is full of hermies. I have only heard bad news and it worries me. I have no where to move it. I have 1 small 4x4 tent and that's it dude.
Thanks manPick off anything you suspect and keep going. It’ll probably stop producing them after a while.
I culled it. I woke up this morning and she was covered in male pollen sacks. I didn't want to risk it so I culled "it"Pick off anything you suspect and keep going. It’ll probably stop producing them after a while.
Yeah man I totally agree with you. I think the only way to get around the hermie issue is buying regular seeds that haven't came from a plant that pollinated itself? I might buy some East side MAC after this growUnfortunately, there's a good chance that almost ANY strain you grow is going to present this tendency. The strains now are so complex and the lineage is so deep and convoluted with hybrids crossed with hybrids crossed with hybrids. The more "stuff" that's in there, the more chance that gene is going to appear. I just grew some seeds from a highly reputable seller (Archive) and the strain was Chemdozer and the "Chem" is from "Chemdog" -that was a strain made from a bag seed back in the day....and every hybrid that uses Chemdog has a good chance of showing some balls at some point. Why? Because those Chemdog seeds were likely the result of the original flower pollinating itself. So, now, the gene is in there and subsequent hybrids that use it, will potentially carry on that gene.
That wouldn't cause it to go hermie. People supercrop, top, defoliate, etc... and never have plants go hermie from it. I don't see how an LED strip falling on the plant would cause it.I'm thinking that when one of my led strips fell down onto the plant it caused enough stress for it to turn hermie???
It's bad genetics then dude, in house genetics gave me hermie seeds. That wouldn't cause it to go hermie. People supercrop, top, defoliate, etc... and never have plants go hermie from it. I don't see how an LED strip falling on the plant would cause it.
