System: RDWC (280 gallon capacity) with a 32 gallon res. Currently holding about 250 gallons.
Water Source: Tap
Nutes: General Hydroponic Flora Series (Flora Micro for Hardwater)
PH: Stable, I use the test drops, no meters, but it looks like pee
Light: 24/0
Temp: good now (my thermometer is broken)
Strain: DNA LA Woman (from clone)
Over the Summer I had many problems due to heat and who knows what else. I lost half of my crop, some due to my efforts to save them and others due to the heat and various problems. I have replaced the missing plants, or began to. the clone with the curled leaves has been in there for about a week. Some of my plants look fine, but others look like maybe a Magnesium deficiency.
Before half my plants died, I added 6 lb's of Epsom to my system. This was in an effort to correct what looked to be a Mag def in some and maybe iron and or sulphur ded in others. Some of my plants have been in the system for a couple of months re-vegging. They were cutting taken in the 20th day of flower.
Now that I am having some more problems, I almost wonder if the Epsom Salt is causing a salt toxicity? I can see discoloration on leaves that looks just like a Mag def, but I am not sure if that explains the leaves curling down. Is downward curling part of a Mag def?
Since my system holds so much water, I don't have enough nutes to do a full flush right now. for the time being, I was thinking of just dumping some of my water and adding some back fresh, with no nutes. It seems to me this would maybe help, atleast as much as a full flush. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
