I'm pretty sure this is a male preflower. however I would like some confirmation before I chop him down.

I'd wait for some balls first...I don't believe those are considered pre-flowers....I forget what they are called but those are not preflowers.

I'd like to know what canigrowit was looking at, all I saw were stipules.

I didn't see any signs of either sex in those pictures, nothing to worry about right now.
