Is this a normal part of flowering?

These are nirvana shortryders, all six plants were planted outside as saplings late march. They are now all about at 6 feet tall and are developing dozens of these smaller branches and are showing small pistils around or on all the small branches.

My question: Is this normal for a "shortryder" to grow 6 feet tall and not flower for two months and have all these branches forming?

i think ther is something wrong with it.... the bottom starts off as nice 7 fingered leaves, but by the top the plant only has 1-3 fingers per leaf. this is allways a BAD sign unless your re-vegging your plants...... what are the nutrients like? whats teh soil like? sometime fingerless leaves means it needs food.

All the 1-3 fingered leaves are tucked inside the main canopy leading me to believe it has something to do with flowering. I just switched to molasses and cut off the miracle gro. Haven't really added nutes in a while.
 
You just got a bad phenotype methinks.
For that particular strain, 1000's of different growth "styles" exist.
Looks like you randomely got one that weakly flowers.

You say pistols are forming, are they just pre-flowers, or flowering branches?
I say let it run out for the rest of the season.

Just sounds like it didn't get much of the autoflowering trait.
But still got something.

"finger" count naturally goes down as plants reach peak flower.
It just looks like it "forgot" to bud haha.
 
well u said its an auto flower stain, which nirvana sells and is basically crap tbh every 1 i hear of growing it says
it does not auto. So being auto idk think it will reveg even tho its june and day light hrs are long but gl any ways~
