That light is no good for growing, sorry. A bit of heat and very little lumen compared to a CFL.

I mean how many watts is your current bulb? I was told that if your gonna use flouresent bulbs than the T5 are the best, I currently just use a 75w FL and it keeps the room its at at 75-78 degrees. But it all depends on what stage your plant is in.

I Have a 23w and a 18w about 3 inches from the top of my plant , I also have a cardboard covered wit aluminum foil riqht on top of my liqhts .

This should be fine until the plant is over 6" and then you will want to add more light. Stick to CFLs or t5 HO (high output) versus incandescent (the bulb pictured). CFLs are the new energy saving technology because they emit more light for the amount of enectricity used than the older incandescents - that 60w light pictures is equivalent to ~13w CFL but will cost you alot more in electricity.
