hello,

heres some pictures of some leaves I clipped from a permasfrost clone in DWC. The plants been thriving, showing tremndous growth, but recently I have noticed several of the older fan leaves developing this same problem. looked through the bible, and the closest thing it looked like was phosphorous deficiency, but im pretty sure that couldnt be the case..

Need more info.

How old is the plant?
What have you been feeding it?
Do you check your PH?
Is it just the bottom leaves?

It looks to me like a pH fluctuation problem. Have you been upping and downing your pH recently??? Or a change in your growing medium?

I must say I see the problem a mix problem, a mixture of first signs of toxicity, first signs of low humidity , and even a little heat problem. If u are using DWC and a reputable nuts then Do NOT go for any kind of deficiency. It happens in HYDROPONICS system pretty rarely.

lets see the plant is a permafrost clone, I've had it for about a month now, and using fox farms nutes, hydroponic grow big, and big bloom. The humidity does stay pretty low, cuz I have a fan on the plants to cool em down a bit. Just moved a 400watt hps into the area. its about 2.5x2.5 feet, and the lights about 16-18 inches away.

it has been difficult to test the ph. I had a test kit, and when I tested my tap water, it showed it between 6.5-7. the nutes are ph balanced so not sure if that'd help. also, I transferred it into a smaller container a few days ago, its about 2 1/2 gallons. its transparent, would the light shining through make a difference? and its mostly the lower leaves, but one here and there throughout the plant..

I did take clones off the plant, so at the very worst I can just put those in soil, and do a little more learning on DWC :)

the babies are sleepin right now, so in the morning I think i'm gonna switch out the water in the container and see if it makes a difference..I have another plant in DWC right next to it, using the same tap water. I think the nutrient content may be different, so ill get em set up the same tomorrow
