it will work yes...get u a 4-6 pack of 45w cfl's from walmart and some of the large shop reflestors n just keep adding light in veg i know ppl that use 15 bulbs for 2 plants when u switch to 12/12 u dont need so much...more light in the beginning = more yield in the end

Generally speaking with CFL's you cannot have too much light. I try and put bulbs in as many places as they will fit without burning the plant.
You really want a min of 100 real watts per plant though.
