Is this even a problem?

Hello all,

I'm new here but excited to soak up some knowledge.
Third grow and I'm running two NYCD plants in the 8th week of flower under a 600w HPS. All was going well after realizing that my pheno was a long flowering type (was worried that they weren't budding fast enough, I've since smoked a bowl and reminded my self that Patience is a Virtue, especially here). These last two weeks they've really fattened up!

However, got a weird sich. In the last couple days I'm getting new growth off the top of my buds! Like little shoots with calyx's growing out. I mean more bud is all good but is it gonna cause airy nugs or lead to some other issue? The rest of the cola seems to be dense and fat just the tops have gone through a growth spurt or something...

Let me know wutcha think... oh yeah, here are some pics of what I'm talking about:

When was the last time you closed yourself up in your flower room, lights off, for a FULL 10mins?

Bet ya got light leakin in there somewheres.... maybe a power LED, crack/hole in wall/lining, something... Check your darkness...

Was she cloned from a flowering plant? If not, the single node leaf action is a strong indicator of light problem as well... it reverted to veg on you a few weeks back.... May lead to large, if kinda fluffy n ... 'exploded' looking buds, but takes a while.... been there... Had a Jack Herer drop off 10oz in a 5gal DWC bucket, cuz it reveg'd on me from a leak around my A/C.....

Thanks Flagg, I will get inside and check it out. That must be it. It's a 4x4 space in a walk in closet. They were grown from seed.

Just started 8th week/ day 51 and I've read they can take 75? Are they way behind?

-thanks

That's very good advice from Flagg420. If you don't find any light leaks, you have some bad phenos.

Found the leaks, lining had torn from corner of scrog.. and closet door was NOT sealing completely. Thanks Flagg420, and everyone else who gave advice. Am I basically starting flower over, with now a high risk for Hermies? I've inspected and no signs of bananas or clusters...

-Thanks again!
