this is my flowering setup, as the pic says 17 total bulbs, my veg setup is 6 bulbs, will this be enough to get a mother going and start a perpetual harvest?

i just removed one of my plants from my grow area and changed up the lights here you go

still using all 17 bulbs, placed around my main plant, 527 total watts, i know they don't add up, but there is light all around the plant

I disagree, it does not look good. Look at the top of the closet, way too much light hitting the top. That light should be harnest and redirected to the plants where its beneficial. Also the light splitter in the middle should be switched to the other side of that huge monster looking thing. Bottom line, lights need to be directed. A simple card board box cut down with about a 3in lip would work great with the inside painted white. Takes like 45min to construct. Shoot me a pm if you want further details.

that's exactly what i use, i got boxes from work, and taped them all together... i always take them out and raise the lights when i take pics so they aren't all glare and no pic...i just never remember to mention

if i stand up the big bottom deflector, it's 8 ft. tall, i can make two of them and block off the entire closet??? but i like to have something reflecting the light about 3 inches above my light fixtures if you can picture it

DUDE,

your pictures are awesome.. and your devotion is second to NONE..

NOW,

Make sure you add even more bulbs.. and get those bulbs all around the plant... spread them around..

somebody mentioned there is way to much light being wasted.. that is TRUE... you need the bulbs spread around.. not just at the top of the plant...

get to work..

you are about to harvest the largest yield froma CFL grow in RIU history..

and that is bad ass!!

Whoa,you have more curly bulbs than me,I had to stop at 13 because I ran out of outlet space.You need some more towards the bottom or just rearrange those bottom ones make nuggets too,iv'e had really good results using the curly lights and can't wait to see how yours turn out.

my brother an electrian has a 250watt hps, and ballast and everything from his failed grow and he offered to hook it up and everything...but this is my first grow and i don't want to go to all the trouble if i can't go the distance...plus everyone always saying cfls suck have made me really want to succeed on my first grow and get a decent yield...i made some improvements today what do you think?

garden knowm stop you are making me blush, j/k, never thought i'd hear that from a master like you...yes i am in flowering day 18, my room humidity is 52, temp is 79 at the canopy and 69 about a foot of the floor...it was 31 inches when i went in to flower it is now about 47 inches 18 days later almost an inch a day it is slowing down now...tell me what you think
