Is this grow light sufficient?

Hello. I was recently gifted a grow light from a friend of mine who also wants to start growing. He bought two of those on accident and gave me his extra.

My question is whether or not this light will give me any yield at all? My setup is a 24x24x48in grow tent in my closet. I plan to only grow a single plant for my first attempt at growing MJ. Will this plant be sufficient to grow? If not, can I use it at all throughout my grow? Thank you!

I'll get you thru veg but flower I'd add another or a different light the 3200k spectrum is mainly used for flower bit will do OK for veg. Might be stretchy

So I can use this light through flowering. Sweet! I’ll probably order more lights as flowering stage comes. Now, for the veg stage, what light spectrum would you recommend?

Completely depends on your expectations and goals. That light will grow weed. Its not enough to grow my weed though.
By the time I hung enough to do that I'd be using more watts and producing more heat than if I just used a couple hid mh/hps normal grow lights, no matter expectations....it doesnt get better than hid grown bud

I was thinking of maybe just giving the light a try on my first grow. Think I could at least get 10 - 20 grams using it? Not my desired yield, but I was thinking of maybe growing small for my first grow since I’m inexperienced and all.

Your plant will grow to its weakest resource. so if you have a perfect environment, with good feeding and watering habits, sufficient c02 and air flow, temps and humidity controlled, the only limiting factor will be your light, the weakest link. No way of telling how much you could yield with any light, but I can tell you a 20 gram cola is possible using only this light through veg and flower.

I suggest you train your plant long and wide, say a 2x2 screen with the plant beneath. Let it veg up through each screen hole and
top the canopy to the same height once all holes are filled, about an inch above the screen, then flip to 12/12.

water soil like this- add 3/4 gallon of water to 3 gallons of dry soil/until small amount of run off is seen draining. dont water again until the pot is light and dry to the bottom, using the same amount of water each time. Use an organic feed, dry crumbles, jobes spikes, organicare, etc per directions on package.

you'll have to read up and choose, even another one of the same would be good.
I use around 5 thousand watts for my rooms. Its a trade off, with more watts comes more heat etc, so if you can control your enviro the sky is the limit. I used this same light for my first hidden closet grow of one bubbling bucket. Was awesome!
Then I picked up a small 70 watt high pressure sodium and saw the light, built an outdoor grow building, equipped right off the pages of high times mag, use 5k hid lights now on movers.

So they say... But then that depends on the size of the grow room, right?
