Is this harvest tiime? Help me out!

Hi there, yesterday I realized I have a pest problem (whiteflies). So I sprayed the plant with soft-soap and water, with hope to stall the pests until I'd get an insecticide (planned for this morning).

Yesterday the pistils where somewhat red, but this morning all the pistils are looking shrunk and red! Could this have happened due to the soap? did I accelerate maturity? or simply dried the buds? or is this regular that harvest time simply comes in one day?

anyway, is it harvest time? or do i have a few more days? help me out!

THANKS!

NEW PICTURES (closeups on trichomes) UPLOADED, go to second page please! THANKS AGAIN!

i really don't think that is ready for harvest, it is probably just a side effect of the soap. how far into flowering are you? i would spray with just water now to rinse off any soapy residue. looks like it could easily go 2 more weeks to me.

do you have any way of magnifying it so you can see the trichome formation? looks good considering its only half way through, whould be a monster come harvest time. just make sure you dont spray any nasties on it before harvest, shit is nasty

I don't have a magnifying tool, i'll buy one today.
Even so, if I have only 2 weeks left to harvest, I should stop giving nutes aight?

Also, Been to the flower shop and the guy there told me to not waste my money on something that I already made myself, soap and water...

He also recommended on taking the plant outside so it can dry. He thinks the problem is high humidity... but my gauge says 50-55%... It is true that when I water I water quite a lot - until water comes from the drainage holes at the bottom, But I do not water if the soil is not really dry. I water every 2-3 days (a 0.5gal pot)...

I still don't have an infestation, i hope it's due to the spraying because i'm going to use it instead of getting something commercial.
I'll order some neem oil or something else anyway, but it may take a week or two until it arrives at my house.

Thanks for the replies!

i had the same problem after spraying it will put harvest off for an extra week or two but she will start to produce alot more pistols again for mine it was like starting flowing again my prob was spder mite tho

how often should I spray the plant with this softsoap and water mix? I have sprayed them 3 times now in 2 days. the plant is dry after an hour so I think i'm not blocking the leaves pores...

Thanks a lot! but I'm not fond of wasps... unless there's a kind that doesn't sting... i could also grow Marigolds (flower) that repel those mofos but I have place for one plant in the PC case and not 2 :/

I think my mistake was that the case is usually open to allow more room and airflow for the plant. Next grow i'm growing one plant only and it'd be confined to the available space...

In the meantime I have to spray my poor girl :( some leaves were really damaged by those flies, small dead areas where the eggs were (at the bottom side of the leaf) are increasing in size... prolly the leaves can't restore themselves. damn... at least the buds are nice and big. the only downside is that the pistils turned red and shrunk a lot... hope it's more of a sign of maturity and not stress which obviously took place.

Hey There, i've uploaded a few closeups, so it would be easier to tell. these images were taken today which is a few days after the thread started.

Thanks for the help guys!

Don't spray any more soap I found that never worked.
What always works for me is yellow sticky traps. You can buy them at your local nursery or hardware store in the plant section. The internet also has plenty of them.
Just set up all of them in the package, devise a way to hang them, indoors some wire or a coat hanger would work, make sure its plant level. shake your plant a little bit to disturb the flies and they're attracted to the color yellow, and they stick to well.. the glue. theyre pretty cheap, and its better than spraying stuff on your buds

Problem is, the plant was heavily damaged by the whiteflies. many leaves are dying, even some of the small leaves on the buds... I'm afraid the whole plant is dying... the smell of it also really reminds me of a dried-read-to-smoke-buds.
