my 400 watt metal halide is 22 inches from the tops of the plants. my temp is 77 degrees humidity is at 43%. I dont think its light bleaching only cuz the bulb is not that close.

help me out

I've had this same problem, which I believe was caused by
A ph problem (Too high) and locking out certain nutes.
My 400w hps is 12 inches from the tops of my plants with no probs (Non air cooled)
Check your ph.

yea you need to get that light closer bleaching and a high ph would start at the top, with that said i can honastly say ive never seen a leaf quite like that so i cant help any more than that but i can suggest ph your water to 6.5 if in soil and give a good flush than hit it with a proper compleat fertilizer


if it were me i would treat it as a nute burn

it could be a mg def. but i cant be sure so i would flush and feed it with some good stuff


Edit: i just noticed you were in hydro so yea 5.8 ph. i only grew hydro for year and dnt anymore but still never seen a leaf quite like that....

OOOO this could be i have one rockwool block covered in algae im getting rid of it today cuz that screws up the ph badly. i get the nitruient solution to 5.6 but within a few hours its up 5.9

hmm about a week ago i thought it was nute burn so i flushed it for a week straight water in the res. so if anything it should be a def. right.
