IS THIS LIGHT BURN?

Just started growing my seeds and have transferred them into there pots from rock wool cubes but have noticed on a few of them the leaves are discoloured on the tips.

I have done some research and think it might be light burn? If anyone could confirm this or give opinions on what it could be?

The plants are growing in soil I have been watering them with the water ph at 6.5 and no nutes yet. They are growing under LED lights.

I dont see how your light would burn those leaves at almost 5 feet away! What kind of LED?

Without any info I'd say your soil mix has fertilizer already in it... its too hot and is burning your plant. Seedlings require a clean potting soil without fertilizers. Nutruent solutions should not be added until around the 2-3 week mark
Agreed, also it’s affecting the lower leaves first as light burn would be on the top ones even with its small stature

They are so small there’s a good chance they’ll just grow through it maybe mist the surface just a tad instead of big water to make sure not so many nutrients become soluble

I’m using the biobizz light mix soil and the led are marshydro 1000w the temps are around 26-28 degrees Celsius, humidity is a bit low but I’ve been spraying them as much as I can.

Maybe your ph is too high or low? Have you checked soil ph?
Edited - I literally spaced that quick that you had them in soil.. lol

Oh yeah anything above 16 will be enough the only time you want your little plants to have a break Is seedling, clone and flower otherwise full veg 24 hours 7 days a week is fine

I’ve been checking the ph levels and they seem ok and yes I’ve been spraying them with the lights on, I have the lights on 24hr for the time being.
This could be a problem if it isn't already. When you spray with the lights on the water drops on your leaves act like magnifying glasses and burn the shit out of the leaves...

If these are autoflowers they shouldn't even be seeing ANY nutrients just yet! Not to mention auto's typically only need very light nutrients and not for quite a while. You should be starting your seeds in Roots Organic or a clean potting soil with no nutrients. I start mine in Jiffy pots and at around 2 weeks I bury the jiffy pot into living soil in its final pot. No transplanting or stress.

And i would run your autos 18 hours light/6 hours of darkness. And keep your light 36 inches or more from the top of the plant until it gets much bigger

Yes I’ve heard of this I try not to spray directly onto the leaves.

I haven’t added any nutrients yet the only nutrients they had was a root stimulator what I soaked the rock wool in before planting the seeds in them, then I buried them in there final pots what they’re in now I’m not sure if there is nutrients in the soil though what could be causing the burn.

I will change my light schedule see if this helps, how long will I leave it on 18/6 for?

thanks
