is this normal for 2 weeks grow?

hi all, i cant get any pics uploaded unfortunately, but il explain as best i can.
ive been growing my auto ak47 for 2 weeks now, and its still fairly small. its got 4 proper leaves on, but theyre small, and one leaf is bending down a bit at the end, while the rest are pointing up and out. theyre healthy looking, nice green colour, no burns, marks etc, im growing it in a pc grow case, with 1 30w light, 1700 lumens, and 4 20 w lights, each 1200 lumens, so about 6500 lumens in total. got ventilation going on, keeping it on 20/4 light period, with decent compost. keeping the pot near the lights, as much as possible, to get maximum light on it. heat is about 35 C. is it normal for the plant to only have 4 leaves so far, and be fairly small? i thought it should be bushy as hell now, with loads more leaves? any advice?

oh, and pc case is lined with mylar too

My seedlings started their 3/4 leaves in 3 days. Granted they are small, but I expect them to be done and working on 5/6 in less than a week. And that's with 12/12 from seed.

I'm guessing that your temps are the problem. 35C is too hot for babies. I planted some outside and the seedlings would not grow until I brought them in and let them get older.

I agree with the temps but didn't know the conversion, heat can make leaves stick straight up too

Yeah I had to do math too lol.. it's 95F. That's just too much. The medium may getting too warm, hindering root growth. Very likely in a PC grow when you have very little medium to absorb and dissipate heat in the first place.

do you think it would be ok to have my plant on the bottom of the pc case, away from the heat from the lights? only put it right near the lights, so it wouldnt stretch

A plant that small doesn't even need that many lights. I would start by turning off as many of the 20W as I could get away with.. at least 2 if not 3. That's going to help your temps. You can keep it close to the bulbs if temps are under control. It could be 100+ at the top of the plant though if it's 95 in the case.

would it grow fine with only about 2 lights on? maybe the 30, and a 2 20s? just it wont be getting that many lumens, thats what im concerned about, dont want to stunt growth further lol

Lumens don't add up anyway, you are just putting more lumens to more area which increase the lux. It's complicated, yes.. but a 30W 6500K CFL can grow a seedling very well without stretch to 6 inches and 3-4 nodes.

thanks for the help, ive just turned some lights off, now all i have on are 3 20w lights, see how that fairs. also, i noticed on two of the bigger leaves, the first true leaves, a tiny bit of yellowing is on the very tips. is that ok?
also, when is it a suitable time to have all the lights on, rather than just 3?

Yellow tips could be a sign of nute burn. Are you feeding them? If so back off a bit. The plant will tell you when it needs more light. As long as you have a good glow on the whole surface of the plant you should be good for now. I'd put the 30W on top of the plant and then add 20W bulbs to the sides as the plant grows and needs it.

I think you have too much fear of stretching lol. It's really a lot more strain dependent. I have an indica and sativa right now, under the same 400W light and when the indica had 1/2" node spacing (like 7 of them in a span of 4 inches) the sativa had node spacing of 3-4 inches...
