Is this normal growth?

It is 7 days old. the first 4 days it shot up like a bat outta hell (height wise). the last 3 have been more leaf growth. A significant amount. The height has almost seemed to come to a halt. BTW newbie here what's up everyone... Thanks for looking..... Height is 4 inches - tip to tip 2 3/4 inches...

When they pop out of the ground they can go crazy with growth if conditions are right. So you must be doing good.

Look almost exactly like several of my 6 that I planted last week. Good to know we are both off to a good start. Keep us updated.

Well I'm not sure if it's going to make it. I did something stupid and I'm afraid I'm paying for it. It was in a huge 15 qt. sq. pot. I realized that I majorly over watered it so I carefully transplanted into a walmart 8 1/2 in. round with fresh soil. A combo of MG potting mix, seedling starter and some sand. The leaves drooped for about 1 hour but then sprung right back up. I moistened the soil with 5oz of distilled came back about 3 hours later and now the leaves are curled and drooped. although the main stem is nice and strong I'm afraid I might have done this baby in. Is there any hope? Any suggestions? I'd appreciate it. I'm kind of bent but it's my first from some bag stuff so I really didn't expect much more then a learning experience.

the leaves are like this since you feed distilled water to them... well technically distilled water can rupture cells thru osmosis since water flows towards the the salt concentration.

it the soil still really wet by the way??

i would wait a bit and see if the recover once more or if the leaves turn brown and hang down. maybe you are lucky, cannabis is quit tough

most plants will go into shock when there transplanted, especially into a smaller pot??? But ganja's a hardy young girl and no doubt will recover!!!! it aint over tiill the fat lady sings, or the plant shivells up and dies, which ever comes first. If you over water again, just let it dry out mate, after all, in the wild theres freak rain storms all the time. Its best to water more but less frequent, hope it turns out ok, peace

No the soil is damp/moist before I was able to squeeze water from the soil now it just compacts with no drip. reason why I used distilled is my tap is from a private well but I run a whole house water softner that I add solar salt because my iron level was too high. although the PH was great 6.7. Do you know if the salt would cause any adverse effects or would it be safe to use? Did the transplant cause this or do you think it was the water? How long should I wait until I should call it a scratch?

well, transplanting is stress for plants, but in this case it was transplanting from a to big pot to fair sized ones to stop over-watering.
and that little stress won't cause this issues dude! so stop noobing around please. you would have to damage rots or stem to cause this just from transplanting them!

the salt is a minor problem, let it sit for a day or longer and the salt will settle down to the walls as build up normal. es long it doesn't taste salty it is generally fine i do this with the water i use for all my plants, not just for the grow and it works fine for me. since you got a well, test if you can't us its water directly, so that you can avoid the salt filter.
distilled water is really a tricky one since it easily kills if used on to small soil volumes. so watch out on this!

Didn't mention b4... It still has a lively green color all around. No hint of yellow or brown... Just looks like its been in a 10 round fight with Mike Tyson.
