But I'll try your way next watering. I use a watering spout thing, so I'll just pour the water around the stem and let the rest of the pot be dry

Yah I did some googling and realized that. I'll just let them do their thing. The roots will eventually grow

get yourself a moisture meter, any hydro store, garden center will have them. About 10 - 15 bucks, stick the probe in the soil, it tells you how wet it is, act accordingly. Takes the guesswork out.

Thanks for the advice. I think theyre loving the new space, the personal lighting and the 2700k bulbs i added to the center. They all perked up, grew some more, and stems are finally not purple any more :)

Plus, the new set up is alot more neat looking. I nailed cardboard about 6" from the top of the box so I can cut holes it and run the cords through the holes to control where the lights hang. Before this, i had all the lights crammed together with tape and straws rofl.

Theyve come a long way in the past week.

But for lighting I have a total of 183 watts.
64 watts of 2700k
126 watts of 6500k
and one of those 11 watt $10 walmart light on the side of the box, i think theyre in the 8000k+ spectrum.
This should get me through most of veg, right?

It looks like the sprouts in that last pic are streching alot, bend them over bury them up to the green. How far away are your plants to the lights? Would never hurt to add more, I don't feel like your gonna grow them too tall anyway. If you want to Veg them to over 1foot your gonna need more light to spread the whole plant.

Idk isn't it 100 watts for the 1st plant and 50 watts for each additional? I'll get some more lights for side growth but I feel I have plenty for the tops. I'm aiming for 3 ft plants at the very end
