Is this normal?

Yer i have seen those air cooled reflectors without glass where the air is simply sucked up into the reflector but i dont see the point in not having glass as it helps sheild plants from light. Peace

The one I have has a latch to easily remove it. I dont have it in there today since its a cold day and my temps are still only 75

This was one of their plus points about being ablr to remove the glass on a cold day. Peace
