Is this ok?

When I grow mushrooms I have more contamination issues using my tap water even after sterilizing it then when I use distilled water. I have one of the cleanest waters in the country but seems to give me issues when I use it for growing things.

oh ok. idk about mushrooms but for cannabis most tap water is usually AOK. your plant looks really good though so i'd keep doing what you're doing. i've just heard of people encountering problems using distilled water, but i suppose its fine as long as you don't overwater with it. that could leech the nutrients out of your soil.

anyways, i would totally recommend tying her down, LST, and supercropping. she looks super healthy i'm sure she could handle some training. and it would definitely improve your yield

good luck!

Just monitor you plants new leaves. If you see it getting worse then you know there is an issue. If not, just continue with plan A to prevent chasing your tail

Just a tiny update, I tied her over so that will hopefully help get some of the lower nodes some light and help her bush out some while saving some vertical room. I hope to be able to get a couple clones from her in the next week or two and start flowering this wild beast. I believe it’s starting to make its sexing parts, hopefully before I go to clone I’ll known that she’s truley female. On my next grow I will definitly go with 4 or 5 plants at smaller sizes, I let this one get bigger mainly for the purpose of cloning it. If memory serves me right this seedling is from a really good batch of jager I got a few years ago, I was lucky enough to find this single seed. Jager is a personal favorite of mine because of its very potent earthy/black licorice taste. Plus this strain had extremely purple buds, which is always nice too look at :)

Some of my lower leaves that got hit with nutrient burn are starting to get a little crisp, do I need to tend to these? Or is it ok to just let them run there corse? All of my above leaves are perfectly fine, so I haven’t given her any more nutrients and won’t until I start to see some deficiencies in the newer leaves. As others have mentioned I don’t expect to see this soon since I just repotted her, this fox farm soil seems to be some really nice dirt ;)

also, one last noob question, Im sure a male plant would have some sort of aroma similar to the female, but this thing hasn’t hit flowering yet and it’s starting to get a nice stink to it, would a male plant start smelling like bud already too?

Yes for sure. I’ve had many a male get stinky mostly of dirty socks, as bad as a budding female? No not as bad.
Why did you not top that plant at the 5 internode or so? Kinda harsh to make a large stem topping but it works too, though you could supercrop it.

I did super cropping on my first grow years ago, I got really good results but the plants was HUGE I grew it for a total of 6-7 months and between the 2 plants I got nearly a pound and half dry weight. So I got awesome results but I’d like to grow littler plants faster. I wasn’t expecting to have to pot up to such a big pot, when I did replant it took away around 16” because of the large container it’s now in and I can’t pull my light up any higher in the tent. This is all still a learning process for me, I just wanted the plant big enough so I can take clones for me and a buddy of mine also wants some clones, I didn’t wanna chip her all up and not have any thing left to flower.

I don’t want to super crop just because I seen the time delay it adds, most of the time when I super cropped with ina day or two the plant would already start standing back up so I know they can recover fast but it would really add time on to it now at this point.

Sure but you would stimulate branch growth and be able to put more tops in the light?

I agree I’m just in a rush to be honest I want this soon to be big ass plant out of my way so I can start more plants. I’m really cramped for room so I can’t pop up another tent or I’d just start another grow.
