Is this okay to harvest?

The optimal time to harvest marijuana plants is when THC production has reached its maximum. A rough guide as to when to harvest is to wait until 50%-80% of the white pistils (hairs) have turned dark (usually brown or red). But a better method of determining when to harvest is to wait until certain trichomes on the plant have matured.

The best time to harvest a marijuana plant is when a majority of the trichomes have turned to a milky translucent color. See these images of what trichomes look like and what color they should be at harvest time. Not all the trichomes will mature at the exact same time, so harvest when most of the plants are ready. Or harvest each bud separately.

This isn't a real good test, since you haven't cured it-- that and an early cut may get you some couch lock for your trouble. But it's a way to test, and if you need to just start smoking, smoke a lil like that while the rest of the plant cures. Hey, it'll give more power to the other buds on the plant, anyway.

Yeh see man, i smoked a bit of plant 3, (numbered in one of the pics). One of the smaller nuggets that wasn't getting too much light, it was still slightly damp but fuck me did it get me messy, i was stoned from around 1am and still feeling the effects by... 4am ish?

It wasn't so much of a couch lock, but my head was running circles, thats why im thinking maybe i can take two or three of these plants with me if i am forced to move out

By with me, i mean in bags / jars


How much weight am i likely to lose out on if i cut in say a week, as opposed to 3 weeks?

Actually it's not i've tryed this method diff times and it actually makes the test crapy its kinda like it burns it like it drys to fast just put it on a piece of paper under cfls Lower then 100w it's take a few good hours but it's way better tasteing smelling and the high is better and "it'll give more power to the other buds on the plant, anyway." takeing a small nugget isn't really gonna add anything else to the other buds the plants not useing that much for them i've done it many times and never really seen a noticable boost in the buds and the longer you let them go the better there opt to be so let them go as long as you can harvest if you gotta and stiping off the small buds isn't gonna hurt it any or affect your yield that much make sure if you clip to make sure what your clipping with doesn't get the wound infected if it does take a q tip with some diluted proxide and put it on there i've heard this words but i've never had a wound get infected yet sorry im stoned ill stop jabberin

And i would say if you harvest now you will prolly miss out on a good bit becuase the last 2-3 weeks is when they really swell so
