Is this ready to harvest????

hello guys,

I am about 7 weeks into flowering. Some of the buds still look with alot of white pital. and some are 50% brown. Top half of plant some buds has tuning brown on the lower half part of plant still have alot of pital. Should still wait until the whole plant all brown??

Dont go by color of pistils. Check trichomes with a microscope. Should be about 50/50 amber/cloudy. Then harvest. 7 weeks sounds short, go another 2-3.

I would say 1-2 weeks myself, check the trics.

You can pick some buds off that you think are ready to test them.

yea check trichomes if ready cut u may have to harvest top and a week or 2 later harvest bottom

if you snip the top off a bud (thats the most ready part) and leave some of the budstructure left, it will regenerate.

small bud should dry in 2 days (depending on humidity) but you can use the oven on low if you are in a hurry (or anything warm to hot)

you can sorta go by the hairs, but some strains will get brown hairs, then keep on growing new white ones so a week later its completely white again.
others will have brown hairs when they are ready, so you sorta cant either go by the hairs too lol. (not the first time you grow a strain)

i find the testsmoke better than using a microscope, if havent smoked the strain anyway, i wont know if i like it best with clear/cloudy or amber trichomes to begin with.

if you got some popcorn on the bottom, you could testsmoke that too, but just remember the popcorn isnt as mature as the top. not if it didnt get any or little light, so its better to testsmoke the actual buds, just pick the smaller ones and you can leave a little bit left of them to regenerate, just in case you need to flower longer.

Great site with helpful members. I did check the trichome and it still clear. Some trichome are starting a little cloud. Since I will wait 2 more weeks until harvest. Should I flush the nutes off reservor now and use only water?

I found one of the plant's bud has white small leave poke out from the bud. Could any tell me what they are??

I don't know what they are but I have had that happen to me before.

Is that bad things, did it smoke ok? What you think about the water, should I flush the reservor?

You'll definitely want to base your harvest day on trichome colors (and that's for every individual strain). The period in which all of your trichomes are cloudy is the point where you'll have the highest percentage of THC

ya i'd let them go for another week at the shortest.. maybe even 2-3 more
