ok, so the strain is emerald triangle's Emerald Jack. It has been flowering for 54 days +/- a day or two, it has a lot of red hairs like neon red but i dont have a microscope to get a really close look at the trics. I quick dried a bud yesterday off of the bottom of the plant and this shit already gets you baked at 54 days. So my question is do you guys think its ready yet? And will the yield be a lot more if i let it go another week? Here are a few pics from today. Lemme know what ya think. Peace

not yet man. Your plant will be ripe when all of the pistils (hairs) change color. you have a couple weeks to go at least. Respect to you!

Let her get ripe all the way, I know its tough to wait but it is always worth it. Sure its good now but compare it to when its fully ripe and you'll see what i mean

You won't be sorry that you let her get ripe. It's just a complete difference. Aroma, flavor, look, density, all seem to come together in the highest amounts when they're fully ripe! TGA has some of the best gear i have ever come across. This guy is a genious greeny and never settles (or sells) for less than top shelf. I just had some jack that blew my mind. Just the look of the finished product is breath-taking! Respect

hell yeah im definitely gonna let it get nice and ripe thanks to your wonderful words of advice, lol. This is like my 4th grow, but honestly I dont think but maybe one or two plants i've grown got fully ripe, those couple were mostly indica dominant though. I wanna keep ya updated till they're finished so you can help me judge a little bit. I'll post some more pics tuesday or wednesday
