Is this some sort of mildew on my bud?

Hey folks,
Just finished up a grow of some Mdanzig Sour60. Here are a couple bud pics.
I have noticed what looks like some extremely white enlarged trichomes. I am wondering if this is some sort of mildew?




Can't really tell. Is it ok to smoke/vape? Thanks for the help!

not a clue... either get a microscope... petri dish pick it off dissolve in water take a look see if anything is wrigglin around in it or multiplying... if you dont have a 800dollar science scope then my only other guess would be some lint from your tshirt or dust or something where is the bud? u drying? temps in room

ive just suffered from bud mold myself and to cut down my two best purple jems, mega phat main colas got infected rotting from the inside out, so i snipped the main colas and left the rest of the plant to finish off, think this will work?

it looks like mold to me. dont go tossing it just yet till you get some other answers. maybe tell us a little more about your drying and curing and the humidity level in the drying room.

Shitty news. Is it still vape-able? These plants finished outside. Unfortunately, there were massive storms and heavy rain just before harvest. Humidity was high during the drying process, so drying took a lot longer than anticipated. This probably caused the mold.
