Is this stretching?

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg These seedlings are 4 days old. Is this stretching? I'm using 400w light at 2 feet away. I'm worried they might be growing to fast.

Looking good to me. I've had plants grow too fast, to which they sometimes fall over, but that was with 2ft T5 4 bay and it was a little too far away. Should this happen, just prop it up with a few toothpicks but I don't think you'll have that issue. 2ft away is pretty good for a 400w, you don't want to dry the leaves out, which can happen with seedlings. They might gain a little more length than usual as it looks like a HPS you're using. A more blue light metal halide would make them less stretchy but you'll be fine.

Using a metal halide. Might have to hook up the 1000w in there. Have been just slowly getting them used to the power lights. Was gonna wait a week or two before turning on the 1000w.

The temps stays between 77-81 and humidity 70-85

Like so many others are saying, it is stretching a bit. Its not a problem though. At this stage you can bury the stem a little more to make it more stable or alternatively you can use a skewer or a staw and a wire tie to tie it upright. Whats yoing to happen is you are going to get a couple of sets of leaves and there will be a brief period where the stem is too skinny for all the leaves and tying it up just helps support the plant until it gets through that phase.

Below is a photo of what one of my seedlings looked like on day 3 of being in soil

This is a photo of that same plant today and as you can see it is nothing major that is worth worrying about too much. Just make slight adjustments and you will be fine.
