what curing trick are you talking about?? please share
just the basics really, ive never grown before, but i helped a buddy of mine cure about a month ago. he had 7 huge female, ok maybe not that big, he yielded roughly 120 grams, actually the plants were mediocre size, lol, but the strain was incredible, so potent.
anyways, we wanted to experiment with curing. so we flushed one planted that we transplanted to an aerogarden, flushed it with pure sugar water. the roots turned funny colors, then we put the sugar water flush in a jar to cure, opened the jar an hour a day for about a week to stop mold. i'd have to say that cure had no taste whatsoever. couldnt tell you what his medium was though, that might have a big influence. no taste, but smooth smoke, no coughing wheezing etc.
tried the gatorade flush in the aerogarden, eh, so so. we water cured the gatorade flush. there are a lot of threads about water curing.
we tried a lemonade flush, lemonade straight from chickfila. the plant didnt like that too much, maybe some thc degradation, but hey, it was an experiment. had a smooth smoke, kinda fruity, not lemony, just sweet.
we tried all kinds, we pretty much came down to, if you flush in an aerogarden, youll get better results. sugar water was my favorite. it kind of kill the plant off as you flush, but as long as you are flushing ultra close to harvest you should be alright.
probably my favorite though, if you find a pina colada mix WITHOUT ALCOHOL, it kills the plant like within 24 hours, but we flushed that with pure water for a few days before the pina was added. the taste from that one was incredible. like coconut's, incredible smoke, kind of rough on the lungs probably because we just air cured that one.
basically its the flush that takes the taste out is what we found out.
