is this to early to transplant?

Yes and no.
There's plenty of soil for it to grow to a big size before transplant.
But yu CUD transplant it if yu wanted.
Id be wary thou since big pots plus small plants usually lead people to overwater, which at this age, wud be detrimental.
The choice is yurs.

Noo problem. And it's hard to say, but the only way a seed will be a female 100% is if it's a feminized seed. Even then, females can still turn to males if stressed out enough. But yeah, if it isn't feminized (which most bagseeds/seeds you obtain yourself aren't) then you've got roughly a 50/50 chance. Some strains will exhibit signs of sex even before 12/12, in the form of two tiny little pistils at the newer nodes of your plant if female and two little seed sacks if male. Not all strains will do this though, many require a couple days of 12/12 lighting. So, if I were you, I'd try going into flower with at least 2 plants if possible...good luck!

Uhm incorrect. Every plant will show maturity/sex in veg if grown out long enough. The problem with today's generation is they are impatient and don't let the plant reach full maturity before flipping. Also a female seed will not turn male, it will always be female but it may produce a sac pollinating itself due to stress creating seeds in the bud thus not creating sensimila and in all honesty stress isn't a huge factor that causes a plant to throw sacs, it's unstable genetics. Stable genetics and you can put them to hell and back. Please if you're going to give advice to new growers make sure it's right.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate everyone's time. Now correct me if I'm wrong, basically what you're saying is a female will always stay female right? So it will always produce female seeds? I'm just nervous about wasting all that time and effort into a plant that won't bud. I'm growing to smoke not sell so it would pretty much be pointless for me to keep the male plant I have no desire to make stains.

it will be female if thats what it turns out to be. but if it hermies and pollinates itself your buds will be full of seeds.. keep it under 24 hours of light and let it grow out a week or two in that container, then transplant it keep it in 24hrs of light and some where around day 30 give or take you should know what the sex is.
oh and be careful not to over water. keep us posted

it certainly could turn out to be a male. and there is a big chance that even if it is female the bud wont be anything like the bud the seed came from. that doesnt meen it wont be good.

let it grow out a while at least a week or two the if ur gonna use that miraclegro only give it about 1/4 to 1/2 of the suggested feeding small plants don't need that much when starting out

I thought I was correct after reading on the forums, but apparently that isn't so. Ya learn something new everyday on RIU!
And I used to use miracle gro for my first couple goes, the stuff can be a bit hot for seedlings but after they are big enough to tolerate it, the results (for me at least) were surprising....just keep an eye out for any type of burns, but besides that I never had any deficiencies or anything. Looking forward to hearing about your own results. :blsmoke:
